(Hoowee this is a long one ;-;)

Hailey had left that hospital closer to Todoroki, Iida and Midoriya. Her creeping paranoia was halted by the lively group and conversations. Although she wasn't horribly injured like Iida and Midoriya, she insisted on staying and extra say to keep Midoriya from feeling lonely. Iida had left a few days prior to stay with his parents, while Todoroki returned to his father's agency to see the look of shame that Endeavor would possibly have.

"Neh, Izu," Hailey had piped up one day, as they sat on his hospital bed and watched a movie. Since all that the news was broadcasting was about Stain, they both decided that it was beginning to get old to hear.

Midoriya turned his head and looked at Hailey, "Yeah?"

"I hope that you know that you are one of the most heroic people I've ever met." She said sincerely, making Midoriya blush for the sudden comment.

"I-Uh-R-Really?!" He stammered in embarrassment.

Hailey smiled and nodded, "Yeppers, it's because of you that our friends are alive, and you've given me hope."

"Hope? Hope for what?" Midoriya questioned.

Hailey looked up at the white ceiling, "A hope for a better future. People like you will continue to save so many innocent lives. I'm just going to say thank you, because this won't be the last instance of you being an amazing hero."

Midoriya had a stare that represented the feeling of his heart swell with a lightness. He couldn't tell at the moment, but Hailey had meant more with her words.

The next day, Hailey was following her mother around the city of Tokyo. Clearly her mother appeared to be window shopping, but Hailey just wanted to get back to learning something. They stopped in Tokyo, just for some passing time before returning back home.

"Mooom, do we seriously have to wander around when we could be back home? You know, for the internship that Mr Aizawa said was really important?" Hailey groaned in annoyance.

Melodie turned and faced her daughter, "Well pardon me for wanting to give you a break from all this heroing and getting injured." She said, half-jokingly. "Besides, you and I both know how much you'd love to get a crepe with all those animated characters as marshmallows on them,"

"I would save those marshmallows, because I am not a kawaiiable!" Hailey joked, "You know, like cannibalism but for cute people.. wait I'm not cute, that doesn't work."

Her mother laughed at her daughter's comment and continued to walk. She then noticed a familiar pro hero, having schoolgirls gawk and gush at his presence.

"You know Jeanist, if I would have known that all you needed was schoolgirls fangirling over you, I wouldn't have bugged you about looking forward to having fanclubs." She smirked, calling towards the taller man.

Best Jeanist turned his attention to the blonde haired woman who walked towards him, as well as noticing the not much smaller red haired girl trailing behind her.

"Well, if it isn't my old colleague, Melodie Roselle." Best Jeanist acknowledged, "How have you been?"

"I've been well, thanks for asking. How about yourself? I see that you have that explosive boy from my daughter's class." Melodie glanced over the man to see the angry teen yelling at some kids.

When Best Jeanist turned around and scolded Bakugou, the ash-blonde's flattened hair poofed back into its normal voluminous spiky style.

Hailey couldn't stifle a laugh, she loudly cackle at her classmate.
