Hailey followed her classmates back into the auditorium after having their lunch break. The food helped her recharge, as well as get back into a more cheerful mood by cracking food jokes and puns at her friends.
She then noticed her mom standing off to the side and waved at her.
"Hi mom!"
Melodie turned and smiled at her daughter, "Hey Hail, good job out there." She patted her daughter's head in admiration.
"Oh yeah, these are some of my friends from class." Hailey then motioned to her friends who stood behind her.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms Roselle." Kirishima said as he introduced himself.
"You too Eijiro."
As well as Uraraka, Mina, and Kaminari introduces themselves to Hailey's mother.
"You all were very strong out their. I enjoyed the variety you brought, it was quite the show." Ms Roselle complimented the students before her.
Just then, Midoriya caught up with them.
"S-Sorry you guys." He apologized for separating from them.
"It's all good, I grabbed ya some mixed veggies, rice and beef just in case you didn't make it." Hailey replied and handed him the container.
"T-thanks Hailey." Midoriya said gratefully.
"Are you Izuku Midoriya?" Ms Roselle questioned the young boy.
"Y-yes ma'am!" Midoriya squeaked nervously.
"My daughter told me how you were one of the smartest students in her class. You take notes for fun." She said in a joking matter, quoting what her daughter had said to her about the boy.
"I-I guess." Midoriya responded, unsure on how he was supposed to.
"I hope you could teach her a few things, someone has some bad habits when it comes to studying. And by habits, I mean procrastinating." Her mother had fired some shots.
"Mom!" Hailey glared at her.
Her mother laughed it off, "Anyways, good luck to you kids and I'll let you get back to getting ready for your fights." Before she turned to leave, Melodie looked at her daughter, "And Hails, don't overdue it."
"Gotcha Mumzy! You better be cheering for me!" Hailey gave her mother a fingergun gesture before heading off to the field for the final match introduction.

After going back to being friends and not challengers, Hailey stood with her classmates as they awaited Midnight to continue with the instructions.
Then the admirable withdrawal of Ojiro and a student from Class 1-B surprised many. And the 5th placing team giving up their spot to move on to Team TetsuTetsu.
