Hailey didn't sleep that night.
Not much, maybe she passed out, she didn't remember.
When her alarm went off, she was already half awake.
Stress was great with keeping Hailey from sleeping. She didn't know what to do with the situation she was in.
Would she go to her house?
Would she tell someone?
What it was a trap?
But what if it wasn't?
Hailey groaned loudly as she wracked her brain over the whole ordeal.
Nonetheless, she got ready for her classes for the day.
She walked downstairs to see the common area empty, except for Bakugou and Midoriya, who were already cleaning.
"Morning, Hailey!" Midoriya greeted, then noticed her tired expression.
"Hey Izu." Hailey greeted tiredly, swaying a bit.
Midoriya rushed and held her for support, "Are you okay?! You look like you didn't get any sleep!" He exclaimed with concern.
"Sleep?" Hailey lightly chuckled, "Who needs sleep? It's for the weak."
Midoriya gave her a more worried look, "Maybe you should go back to bed. I'm sure Mr Aizawa would understand."
"Nah, I think he'd be inspired to nap during class. I can't miss out! We're finally back from summer break! Back into the.. into the.. shit what was the word? Movement- fuck it's motions!" She declared. "Yeah I'm gonna head to class, have fun cleaning!"
"Don't be a moron." Bakugou grumbled at her, but she brushed him off and headed to the classroom.
"Have you met me? Not possible!" Hailey joked and walked out of the dorms.
While walking down the hallway, Hailey was lost in her thoughts, trying to decide what to do again.
'Shit, am I just overthinking this?'
Hailey groaned in annoyance at herself, before being caught off guard by a shoulder bumping into her and lost her balance.
"Oh shiiit-" She squeaked, but her arm was caught in time.
"Sorry about that." The familiar monotoned voice of Shinsou apologized, as he helped Hailey to her feet.
Hailey looked up and sheepishly thanked him for his help, "Thanks, Shinsou. Sorry, I guess I was just too much in my own head."
"Don't worry about it." Shinsou assured, then noticed the dark circles that rivalled his own. "Hey, didn't the hero department first years go for their provincial licenses?"
Hailey smiled, "Yeah we did yesterday. They're crazy, a lot of stuff going on all at once. But a good learning experience nonetheless."
Shinsou nodded, "I see, so then someone like me would be able to pass you think?"
Hailey nodded and giggled, "Hell yeah! Put your mind to it and keep it open to the information and criticism, you could totally pass."
"Hm, thanks." Shinsou hummed and turned to walk away.
"Take care." Hailey said awkwardly as she walked him walk to his class.
She let out a sigh before heading to her class as well. Then Hailey pondered for a moment, they were the only students that were actively walking the halls. How early was it?
