On The Run

Chapter One

            Elizabeth's P.O.V

Oh what a beautiful morning it was. Today is October 26th, my little Sister Lilly's 18th birthday so I decided I'd take her to the little cafe down the street for breakfast, then we would go to the mall... I rolled out of bed and decided I would go take a shower before I went to wake my little sister...

As soon as I stepped out of the shower my phone rang, it was my cousin Nataleigh, I picked up my phone and answered it quickly

  (On the phone with Nataleigh)

(E) "Hey Nat"
(N) "Hey Liz, you still taking Lil to the cafe for breakfast?"
(E) "Yeah... Then we're gonna go to the mall and just have a girls day out"
(N) "Oh that sounds fun"
(E) "Yeah... Come join us!"
(N) "I don't want to intrude"
(E) "Nat, we haven't seen you in forever. Lilly would love if you came along"
(N) "Sure?"
(E) "Positive"
(N) "Ok... What time?"
(E) "Probably around 9:30"
(N) "Ok, I'll see you there"
(E) "Great! Love you Sis"
(N) "Love you too"
*Beep*

I hung up the phone, and walked over to my dresser to pick out what I was gonna wear. I decided on a pair of black ripped skinny jeans, a Falling in Reverse shirt, followed by a black leather jacket and black combat boots...

After dressing myself, I walked out of my room to go wake Lilly. To my surprise she was coming out of her room the same time I was "Why do you always dress so dark?" Lilly sighed, walking to the kitchen "Why do you always dress so bright?" I asked, following her "Because I can" Lilly answered "Exactly" I grinned "You might grab a jacket before we leave" I said looking for my keys. Lilly was wearing blue skinny jeans and a loose grey shirt with white convers...

Lilly and I had finally made it to the cafe and we're now waiting on Nataleigh to get here, sipping on some coffee. After a couple minutes I looked up when I heard the bell over the door ring as it opened and I saw Noah, Lilly's boyfriend, I cringed thinking Lilly had invented him "Really?" I asked quietly "What?" Lilly asked looking up from her phone "You invited that thing" I said nodding towards Noah, Lilly looked over her shoulder to her boyfriend then looked back at my "I didn't invite him" Lilly said quietly "Wait" Lilly started "Who the hell is that girl?" Me and Lilly asked at the same time "Act like you're not here and we'll find out" I said looking down, letting my hair fall over my face. Lilly and I were sitting in our normal little booth in corner of the Cafe, our Uncle owned the place so he always made sure no one sat there... I slightly glanced over to Noah and saw him, leaning over the table kissing the girl he came in with, I heard Lilly start crying and I began to fill with rage...

I got up from my seat and walked over to where Noah and his new toy were sitting, I grabbed the son of a bitch by the collar of his shirt and pulled him out of the booth "The fuck do you think you're doing?!" I asked bitterly "I-I uh Liz... Hi" He began to stutter "Put him down" The girl said hatefully "You shut the fuck up..." I said pointing at her "And you... Look at what you're doing to Lilly... On her fucking birthday" I glared, pointing at Noah, then towards Lilly "Who is Lilly?" The girl asked "I am..." Lilly said quietly, coming over to us "Lilly, Babe... This isn't what it looks like" Noah said in a panicked tone "What the actual fuck is wrong with you?" The girl said to Noah as she got up from the booth, linked arms with Lilly and walked back over to our booth "Tessa" Noah said, as she walked away "You get the hell out of here... and never fucking come back... If you do, my Uncle and I will be standing at the door ready to beat the shit out of you" I glared, shoving him back and walking over to Lilly and the girl who I assumed was Tessa.

Noah quickly left after all that had happened, Lilly was still crying and Tessa was comforting her. I heard the bell above the door again, this time Nataleigh came in "Awe... I was hoping I'd get to beat the shit out of someone today" I grinned as Nat came over to our booth "What happened?" Nat asked "Noah happened" I answered "This is Tessa by the way... She's Noah's ex" I introduced "I'm Nataleigh" Nat smiled, sitting down "Did he finally get caught?" Nataleigh asked "Yep" I answered "So did you know about Lilly?" Nataleigh asked, looking to Tessa "I've always known of her, I just never knew that she was dating Noah" Tessa answered "He always said that Elizabeth was a bitch" she added "To him I was... I couldn't stand him" I said "I should have listened to you" Lilly said, looking over to me "Yeah, you should've... But, let's eat and then go do something fun and forget about his bitch ass" I said with a small smile...

   

   It was now 5:30pm and we were now leaving the mall. We said our goodbyes to Nat as we got to our cars... Me, Lilly and Tess all go into my 2005 Chevy Camaro. I asked Tess where she lived, then took her home...

"How ya holding up?" I asked after Tessa got out of the car "Better than I expected" Lil answered with a sad smile "That's good... How bout you and I get some pizza, go home and watch movies" I suggested "I'd like that" Lilly smiled... With that we were off to get pizza and go watch movies...
