Chapter Two

                   Lilly's P.O.V

Yesterday was amazing, other than the fact that my boyfriend was cheating on me... But I got a new friend, I got a see my cousin, whom I haven't seen in ages and I got to spend the day with my sister...

Ever since Mom and Dad died, Liz has stepped up a lot... She became a parent earlier than she had planned, she reminds me a lot of Mom too... She's an amazing sister, she can just be a little strict... Yeah I know I could move out now if I wanted to but there's really no point, Liz is the only one I've got that I know she will be there no matter what. Even though it'd be nice to have Mom and Dad back I wouldn't trade what I have with my sister for the world... I heard I knock on my door that pulled me out of my thoughts "Yes?" I asked "I'm heading to work, waffles are on the counter" I heard Liz call from the other side of the door "Ok... Have a good day, Love you Sis!" I replied "Love you too" I heard her say as she walked away...

          *Short Time Skip*
                  Liz's P.O.V

Today has been a pretty shitty day.... Even though I opened the cafe roughly two hours ago, we were already swamped, it was only me and Natasha, a girl I have worked with since the start, we've become pretty good friends over the past years... I was working the front today, which is honestly one of the most stressful parts of this job "Hey, dumb ass! Where's my food?" A man asked in a hateful tone "I'm sorry Walter, we're working on it... It's just me and my friend today... No one else showed up and Uncle Tony is out of town" I said politely "Well you need to hurry or I'm not paying" Walter snapped "Hey, she is doing her best so piss off" I heard someone with a Scottish/Australian sounding accent say "Who the hell do you think you are!?" Walter yelled "Well my name is Jack and I think I'm saving you from getting punched in the face by the Lass behind the counter" The younger man stated boldly "She wouldn't do that" Walter laughed "She may not but she sure has every right to. You should learn some patience and go sit back down" Jack glared, with that Walter went and sat back down "Are you alright?" Jack asked "Yeah... Thanks" I smiled "Ah don't mention it" Jack grinned "The names Jack" He holding out his hand "Elizabeth" I smiled, shaking his hand "Why do you let him run you down like that?" Jack asked "Well I can't very well punch him, so I decided it was best to just take it... Plus ole Walter wouldn't really do anything he's just always in a bad mood" I answered "I would've hit him by now" Jack commented "I usually don't really have to worry about it... Harold over there usually takes care of him" I said gesturing to the man in the booth in the left corner just before Mine and Lilly's booth "That booth over there, why is it always reserved when I come in here?" Jack asked "My Uncle is the owner and he keeps it reserved for me and my little sister" I answered "Anyway, what can I get for you?" I asked with a smile "What have you got?" Jack asked with a sly smile "Well we have all sorts of food, Coffee, Water, Soda, annnnd Tea" I answered, looking at the drink fountain "Got anything stronger?" Jack grinned "Well, I have a brand new bottle of aged Jameson whiskey back at my place" I said, leaning over the counter a bit "And I get off at 5" I smile innocently "I'll be here at 4:30" Jack smirked "Early... I like" I smiled. "Now, do you want something?" I laughed "Ummm, how about an iced French vanilla caramel latte with extra caramel and no whipped cream" Jack answered "Nice choice, that's literally all I drink" I said with a smile "Yeah... I'm actually surprised I found somewhere that has it cheaper than Starbucks and for such a small cafe it's shockingly better" He smiled "Yeah... Uncle Tony went all out with the coffee part, we have a room full of nothing but coffee things. Hopefully we'll be able to build on to this up here and bring it all out" I said with a smile, walking towards the door that lead to the kitchen.

"You're supposed to be working not picking up guys" Natasha laughed as I went to make Jack's coffee "Tasha this is the first guy I've talked to like that since before Mom and Dad passed and if he's single I call dibs" I said with a smile "Go for it girl... I mean he's hot, so hey! Why the hell not? But if he hurts you I'll kill him" Natasha said, seriously "Yes I know... and so will Lilly and Nataleigh oh and Uncle Tony... Don't say a word to Uncle Tony" I said, having finished making Jack's coffee "I know nothing" Tasha winked "Thanks Tasha" I smiled going back to the front to give Jack his coffee...
