Chapter Ten

Elizabeth's P.O.V

Almost two years had passed, Jack and I had found a house just outside of town with quite a bit of land which we got married on... Today, I'm on my way to my doctor's appointment to get some things checked out...

Jack and I have been trying for the past six months to have a baby and hopefully we have succeeded. Lilly told me I had to pick her up so should could go with me...

"Boo, you better be having a baby" Lilly said as she got into the car "Boo, your brother-in-law said the same thing" I chuckled "He just said it differently" I added "Gross" Lilly cringed. "Soooo?" Lilly smiled "What?" I asked."How've you guys been?" Lilly asked "We've been great actually... I'm a lil sore from the excessive attempts at baby making" I replied "How excessive?" Lilly asked "Every night for the past two months and like it hasn't been rough... well for the most part but damn, we're kinda desperate and it's biting me in the ass" I chuckled "Well I mean it's not necessarily all on you" Lilly pointed out "Actually it is... I was the one who suggested it and he just went along with it. I had a test done a couple weeks ago and it came back negative but I was supposed to start last week and I didn't, so I'm gonna have them do a urine and blood test and hopefully it'll come back positive and Jack and I can stop this every night thing" I explained as I pulled into the parking lot of the hospital...

Melissa my doctor came back with a smile on her face "Soooooo?" Lilly asked "Congratulations Mrs. Sparrow your baby will be here around September 18th" She replied "There is something I need to talk to you about from the exam we did before the test" she added "Okay" I said in a questioning tone "There are small tears in your vaginal canal and from the looks of it there's no infection but I'm going to go ahead and prescribe you an antibiotic to prevent infection and I want you and you husband to take a break from sexual intercourse for the next seven to ten days, which I'm sure you're already planning on doing" Melissa chuckled "Oh yes. I told Jack that we're taking a break whether I was pregnant or not. I am so sore" I smiled... Melissa is a personal friend as well as my doctor so we sat and talked for a bit longer about life and made plans for her and her husband to come out for dinner Saturday and then Lilly and myself went back to my house...

"Hey Liz" Lilly said looking up from her book "Yeah?" I asked "What would have happened if you would have gotten pregnant by you know who?" Lilly asked "I would have kept the baby and Jack would have been his or her Dad... Jack and I actually talked about that a couple nights after we got home" I replied "Speaking of which, since we never really talk about it how are you holding up?" I asked "I'm a little paranoid and I don't leave home without my taser and pepper spray. I'm going get a German Shepard named Scooby tomorrow, You wanna go with me?" Lilly asked "Sure" I smiled "Why don't you stay with us tonight" I suggested "Can I?" Lilly asked, lighting up "She wouldn't have said anything if she didn't want you to" We heard someone say from the doorway of kitchen "when the hell did you get here?" I asked "Just now" Jack answered "I didn't here the garage door open" I replied "It was already open" Jack said flopping down on the couch beside me "You told me to leave it open" Lilly stated "Did I?" I asked "Yeah" Lil nodded "Oh, the baby is due in September" I said casually "It's about goddamn time" Jack grinned....

Author's P.O.V

After dinner, Lilly, Jack and Elizabeth were all sitting on the couch watching a movie, there was a knock at the door. The dogs perked up as Jack walked over to the door... "Can I help you?" He asked politely "I'm looking for Miss Lilly Stark" A man said. The color drained from Lilly's face, clearly recognizing the voice. Elizabeth noticed this and motioned for her to go upstairs and stay as she walked over to Jack "She's not here and We've not seen or heard from her for a while... I mean I can call her but I doubt she'll answer" Liz said nicely "Do you know where I could find her or a number I could call?" The man asked "Her number has been the same for the past ten years but she doesn't really talk to people much anymore" She smiled "Well if you do hear from her... Can you tell her I'm really sorry for what I did, I shouldn't have done it and I regret it everyday... I'm Felix by the way" The man sighed "We'll let her know as soon as we hear from her" Jack smiled "Thank you" Felix said as he turned to walk away...

Jack closed the door and gave Elizabeth a confused look "Wait stop him!" Lilly said, running downstairs "Why?" Liz and Jack asked in unison "I was being petty and I forgive him" Lilly said as tears filled her eyes. She ran past her sister and brother in law and out the door. Felix was clearly surprised to see her but he was happy.

"I'm so sorry" Lilly cried as she practically threw herself at Felix. Felix wrapped his arms around her tightly, in fear of losing her again "No, I'm sorry... It was stupid to get mad over you wanting a dog" He said, as tears stung his eyes "And it was stupid to break up with you because of it" Lilly replied "Alright, ya both were stupid. Now come in the house before one of you gets sick" Elizabeth called. Lilly quickly kissed Felix before they went inside...

Lilly had talked Jack and Liz into letting Felix stay for the night, Jack said yes as long as they kept their hands to themselves, then him and Liz went to bed and Lilly and Felix sat on the couch, watching a movie over hot cocoa...

"Ya know... Your sister is an amazing actor" Felix stated as the movie ended "Yeah, she is... I told her she should make a career out of it but she said she was content where she was" Lilly smiled "She's really nice" Felix smiled "Yeah, when she wants to be" Lilly chuckled "Come on, let's go to bed" She suggested, Felix nodded, taking their cups to the kitchen then following Lilly upstairs to her bedroom...

"Goodnight Felix" Lilly sighed contently "Goodnight babe" Felix smiled as they slowly drifted off to sleep...
