Chapter Eighth

                              Jack's P.O.V

I woke up the next morning and began to get ready for work, I really didn't want to go but it was my last day then I had the next two weeks off... I walked quietly out of the bedroom and made my way down the hall "Good morning Jack" Lilly smiled "What are you doing up?" I asked "Well I figured after a whole two months of being alone you'd want someone to eat breakfast with" Lilly replied "Also, I took Duke to the dog park this morning... don't worry, there was a lot of people there" She said, going into the kitchen....

                      Author's P.O.V

After Lilly made Jack eat breakfast, he made his way to the bedroom to grab his keys, phone and wallet. Jack glanced over to Elizabeth and figure it'd be smart to leave her a note for when she wakes up, he walked over to her side of the bed and gently placed a lingering kiss upon her forehead startling her awake "Oh it's just you" Liz sighed in relief "Yeah baby, it's just me" Jack smiled "When did I put a shirt on?" Liz asked, seeing she had one of Jack's flannels on "You felt cold so I put it on you before I left the room earlier" Jack answered  "And I never woke up?" Liz asked "Well, conveniently you rolled over right after I got your right arm in the sleeve so I didn't have to do a lot" Jack replied "Do you think Uncle Tony will let me work today?" Liz asked "Are you in pain?" Jack asked, "I'm not in pain, I'm not having frequent flashbacks and no nightmares... I have a headache... Headache is probably because the only proper meal I've had in two months was last night and I was still hungry but wanted to go home and nap and I've only had one glass of water since I've been home" Liz replied "He might" Jack stated, kissing Liz one last time before he had to leave...

 
                            Jack's P.O.V

I sat at the station for a good portion of the day, I went to the cafe for lunch and Liz was there with a big smile then I went back to the station and got called into the boss's office and now here I am... "I didn't do it" I joked "Actually you did" Frank smiled "Meet me in the conference room at 1:30 and I'll explain everything, dismissed" He stated...

                       *Time Skip*

Although it was only thirty minutes I had been nervous while waiting for 1:30 to come, "Is he gonna fire me in front of everyone because I broke some rules... Is he gonna fire me cause I snapped and told him I wasn't working a different case until I found the girls..." I thought as I walked into the conference room... "Ah, Jack... Come up here" Frank grinned, I slowly and calmly walked to the front of the room... "Although you broke some rules along the way, you never give up on bringing those girls home, even though everyone else did. I had a few days where I wanted to tell you go just go home and not come back but I'm glad I didn't, you solved the case, brought them home and you sent a bunch of innocent people back home and little miss Nicole Matthews thanks you for "bringing her Daddy home" and you put a psychopathic rapist and killer all of New York gave up on finding, behind bars.... I am proud to promote you to our new Head Detective Inspector" Frank said then everyone else in the room started cheering. I stood there and let it sink in... "Are you sure?" I asked "Yes, I'm sure... Joe quit and we all agree you'd make a great Head Detective" Frank smiled "Wait... Do I still get to keep Duke?" I asked "Yes" Frank laughed "Now clock out, go home and get some sleep" He added, patting me on the shoulder...

I clocked out but I didn't go home, I went to the cafe...

                        Liz's P.O.V

We just finished lunch rush and I was ready to take a nap. I had my head laying on the counter when I heard the bell ring notifying my someone came in, I sighed and lifted my head "Hi welcome to Uncle Tony's what can I get for you?" I asked, reaching down to get a new recipe note pad thingy "A kiss" I heard a familiar voice say "Jack, what are you doing off so early?" I asked "I got a promotion and Frank told me to go home but I didn't want to cause I figured it'd be a bit before you for off" Jack explained "Actually I'm off on an hour" I smiled "Actually you're off now" Uncle Tony said, emerging  from the kitchen "I am?" I asked "Yes... As of just now you got of two seconds ago"  Uncle Tony smiled "I hate you" I smiled "I know, now go home and have some alone time with Jack, I'm keeping Lilly" Uncle Tony stated "Ya know-" I started "Yes, I know she's an adult and can go wherever she wants but I've already talked to her and she's gonna go home with me" Uncle Tony smiled...

                         *Time Skip*

Author's P.O.V

Liz and Jack went home and watched a couple movies and cuddled on the couch. As the second movie ended Jack remembered he never got to give Liz the last half of her anniversary gift "Liz, Bed room now" Jack said, Liz looked at him with a surprised expression "What?" She asked "You heard me" Jack smirked "Why?" Liz asked "Cause I never got to give you the rest of your gift" Jack replied "Is it a baby?!" Liz grinned "No it's not a baby" Jack chuckled "Unless you wanna make one" Jack smiled "As much as I'd love one, I think we should wait a little longer" Liz stated, Jack let out a sigh of relief "What's wrong?" Liz asked "I'm not ready for a kid yet"Jack replied "Okay. We'll wait" Liz smiled, stroking his cheek lovingly "You look like Matt Damon"  Liz chuckled "Good or bad?" Jack asked "It's great" Liz giggled...

Jack pulled Elizabeth into a passionate yet lustful kiss. Without breaking the kiss Jack stood and carried Liz to their room.

Jack gently laid Liz on the bed then got the dogs out of the room, then shut and locked the door...

Jack walked back over to Liz and pulled her into a rough kiss..."Jack" Liz gasped into the kiss as he roughly groped her breasts...
After moments of foreplay, Elizabeth began to tug at the hem of Jack's boxers "Someone's eager" Jack smirked, Liz nodded in agreement "Beg" Jack growled in Liz's ear, grinding his hips on hers "Fuck" Liz gasped "Please Jack...  I need you now" She begged "What was that?" Jack grinned Liz galred at him, knowing he heard her "I need you" Liz repeated "What do you need me to do?" Jack asked "I need you to fuck me" Liz said quietly,  Jack stood and slid his boxers off then climbed back on top of Liz and gently slid in to her, Liz bit her lip trying to be quiet on behalf of the neighbors.... 

                          *Time Skip*

"Oh wow" Liz sighs in satisfaction "We need to do that more often" Jack stated, Liz nodded in agreement "But for now, I vote we go to sleep" Jack smiled "I like that idea... I have to work open to close tomorrow... Natasha is having a baby" Liz smiled "But after that Uncle Tony said I won't come back to work till you go back" She added, cuddling up to Jack. Soon they both had fallen asleep in each others arms...
