Chapter Seven

(Felt generous today so here's another chapter... Since this book already finished there will be more frequent updates... I'm still working on chapters for the other two books and I'll have them up as soon as I can. Until then, I hope you're enjoying this one)

                            Lilly's P.O.V

I woke up in my bedroom, I was so happy to be home but I know I wasn't gonna be here for long, Jack was taking me to the cafe so I could go home with Uncle Tony then he was going back to Brooklyn. I'm not entirely sure how exactly he's able to work this with it not being here in Queens but I assume he knows what he's doing...

                            *Time Skip*

                             Jack's P.O.V

I took Lilly to Tony then Duke and I made our way back to Brooklyn. Now that I knew what this fucked up bastard was doing it made me want to beat him senseless but I had to stay professional....

I arrived at the station to inform them of what I was doing where I was doing it and that I needed a team and a few ambulances to go with me....

Before I knew it I was kicking in the door with my dog at my side and a team of officers behind me "Man does it feel great to be back in the game" I smiled...

                            Liz's P.O.V

I woke up to someone yelling, it was Mr. J... He was yelling at an employee, I assume he saw Lilly got away... "God let her be safe" I thought... "Did you know about this!!?" Mr. J asked looking at me "Know about what?" I yawned "Your sister got out last night!!" He yelled, pulling me out of the bed by the collar of my shirt "No Sir, I was with you all night" I answered calmly, he dropped me and walked over to his desk... He pulled out a knife and looked directly at the employee and grinned, I immediately knew what he was doing and tried to stop him....
"Fred, honey please don't do this... Let's think about this for a second" I said, stepping in front of the employee "Move" He said stopping in front of me "No" I said, standing my ground "I don't want to hurt you but I will" he glared... I panicked not being able to think of anything to say so I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him down into a kiss, he dropped the knife and wrapped his arms around my waist, deepening the kiss "God I feel like I'm kissing an octopus" I thought. I heard the employee leave and close the door and apparently so did Mr. J cause he pushed me back on the bed "I hate myself so much" I thought as I pulled away... Just then the door to his room/office flung open "I found them Sir" I heard a female voice say, I then heard quick footsteps... I couldn't help but to smile when I saw my man walk into the room, Mr. J stood straight up as Jack walked over to him "Mr. Frederick Jackson, you are under arrest for possession of illegal drugs, murder, kidnapping and rape. You have the right to remain silent, everything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law" Jack said, proudly cuffing Jackson and walking him to the door "Madison, take him and have a couple of the guys go with you, keep you taser ready at all times" Jack commanded "Yes, Sir" The officer nodded and left with the Psychopath... I had stood while Jack was taking care of Mr. J, when he turned around he ran over to me and engulfed me in a bone crushing hug "Happy five months Babygirl" He said "Best gift ever" I chuckled "Let's go home" Jack said pulling away "Is your job finished?" I asked "I have to go get Mark and take him home, I promised a five year old I would" Jack smiled "Then let's go" I said, before giving him a quick kiss, just then a dog barked, Jack let me go and went over to the dog, who was pawing at one of the drawers of Mr. J's desk. Jack slipped on a glove then opened the drawer and pulled out a bag of white powder "Cocaine?" I asked "Yeah" Jack nodded "Good job Duke" He smiled, giving the dog a treat "What else did he have in here?" I asked "Heroin, more cocaine... and a few more" Jack said standing back up.... When we walked outside I put my arm up to block the sun from my eyes "It's been so long since I've been outside" I stated as a tear fell "Well get used to it cause we're gonna be outside a lot" Jack smiled as he gave the officer named Madison the evidence bag "He's going without a trial, ya gonna be there when they lock him up?" Madison asked "I'd love to but I promised a five year old I'd bring her Daddy home and I gotta get her home before her Uncle hulks out on me" Jack smiled, nodding to me "Alright. Thank you Jack" Madison smiled "For what?" He asked "You just helped us catch a criminal that all of New York gave up on finding cause they couldn't" Madison stated "I'm just doing my job" Jack smiled "Well you did great, and I hope I get to work with you again" She smiled... Jack and I walked to his car with Duke "Oh baby I have missed you" I smiled, laying my head down on the car "You reacted to her a lot better than I expected" Jack said "Explain" I stated "Madison and what she said... I expected you to say something about it as we walked away" Jack stated "She's was just being friendly... She wasn't flirting with you Babe" I smiled "No I know that but you don't" He said "Honey, women know when other women are flirting with their men" I chuckled "There is nothing between you two though... Right?" I asked "No, you're the only one" Jack smiled "In fact..." He said digging around in his pocket, he pulled out a black velvet box "Will you marry me?" He asked, opening the box, revealing a black, sapphire ring "Yes" I said quietly "This isn't how I wanted to do this" Jack stated, sliding the ring on my finger "No, it's perfect" I smiled "You don't think were moving to fast do you?" Jack asked "Babe, My parents got pregnant with me, having a one night stand, two months later they were married then seven months later they had me... So no... I don't think we're moving too fast" I chuckled, pulling him into a kiss...
