Within Master Xandred's ship, Pendara sat drinking as much medicine as she could intake. The other Nighloks around her didn't speak a word.
"Why isn't that dreaded working!" Pendara bellowed throwing the bowl against the wooden boards.
"Uh ma'am Pendara?" a Nighlok said. "How are you going to get back to full health?"
Pendara glared at the Nighlok and her eyes flickered dangerously. The Nighlok quickly positioned himslef keeping his head high. Pendara glared at nothing in particular in deep thought.
"The Sun and Moon Ritual!" she cried before sternly entering another room.
Pendara scanned the room until she noticed a book. Pendara flipped open the pages skimming over them just as fast.
"Where is it?" she growled.
Pendara stormed back out to where the other Nighloks still stood their guard silently.
"I will return in exactly three hours, don't do anything reckless," Pendara scowled.

Emily POV

Alexa slashed her Spin Sword which met mine the sound of metal scratching metal filling the air. Alexa broke off the collision and struck again meeting my sword, again. Behind us were Lauren and Jayden training with each other. Ryan told me last night about Lauren being Jayden's half sister.
Standing near the door was Mentor observing our training along with Kevin.
"Alexa has a lot of energy in her," I heard Kevin comment.
"Both are evenly matched," Mentor stated.
A loud blaring sound echoed through the air. The Gap Sensor symbol over the door flashed on and off. Everyone quickly ran to the map where Pendara stood in the city.
"That's impossible she's dead," Mike said.
"I could have died for nothing," Ryan stated.
"Most powerful Nighlok ever seen and she can take an explosion to the face," Antonio said.
"Wait, wait, who's Pendara?" Cole asked.
"Long story short, Ryan lost his humanity, he found his long lost brother Ash who had a coffin which held Serrator's far more powerful sister. Then, we reawakened her and she killed Serrator. We fought her, we lost, then Ryan exploded and now BAM! Here we are," Natalie explained in one breath.
"Wow, we really missed a lot didn't we?" Alexa asked.
"Ok guys, can we focus on the key problem here?" Ryan cut in.
Everyone diverted their focus onto the map. Pendara shot energy beams from her fingertips causing pedestrians to scatter in fear.
"I've been itching for another fight all day," Ash grinned.
"One that you might not come back from," Ryan replied.
"Oh well."

Once we arrived at the city already morphed, Pendara looked satisfied.
"Ah perfect," she mused.
Jayden, or Lauren scanned the area for a quick moment then said quietly, "Alright guys, we need to attack from behind, Mike and Kevin, see if you can get up on those two buildings. Start blasting your BullZookas when Ryan, Antonio, Ash, Natalie, and Emily go in and distract Pendara. The remainder of the team will lend me your Power Disks when I bring out the Fire Smasher. Go!"
The five of us dashed towards Pendara. I made a few symbol slashes and a boulder appeared hurling itself towards her. Pendara pointed her hand towards the boulder and it exploded into dust and shards of stone.
Ryan and Ash both struck simultaneously. Pendara held up both of her hands preventing the swords from reaching her. They struggled against Pendara until she forced her hands upwards and they were both sent flying.
"Natalie, think you can use some symbol power for some stainless steel?" Antonio called.
"I think so! Why?" Natalie replied.
"Trust me!"
Natalie stepped away from Pendara and I took my chance to strike. Pendara ducked and grabbed my ankle swinging me aside. I skidded across the ground until I stopped demorphing.

Natalie POV

I saw Antonio's strategy. Antonio would summon light which would reflect off the stainless steel I summoned and then blind Pendara. Antonio is smarter than everyone gives him credit for.
"Now!" Antonio shouted.
I nodded summoning a sheet of stainless steel. Pendara's energy balls bounced off of it blasting nearby random objects. Suddenly a beam of light hit the steel reflecting itself towards Pendara who cried out holding her face.
"Ok guys! Now!" I shouted being sure to look away from the light.
Kevin and Mike raised their BullZookas opening fire on Pendara. A cloud of smoke filled where Pendara was standing.
"Natalie move!" a voice shouted.
I didn't need to be told twice. By the feeling of heat on my back I knew Jayden was powering up the Fire Smasher. I dove out of the way as a column of flames shot past me. The cloud of smoke thickened as the Fire Smasher hit something within it. I saw a figure in the sky focusing on it until I realized it was Pendara. Of course she would be unharmed. Suddenly she appeared in front of Mia in a ghost-like form.
She disappeared and a field of energy swept over everyone.

He-ho peoples. Ok, so I know the title of this chapter doesn't exactly make sense. But read the last few sentences again and then re-think it. If you are now realizing it, then yes that is what happened! And if it doesn't make sense to you, well you're just going to have to wait until next time. I'm going to write a little bit of the next chapter after this but I won't publish it because I'm a crew leader for toddlers at my local church so I'll be at church for the remainder of the day.
