I opened my eyes to see the ground, grass and dirt. Am I hallucinating? I tilted my head despite my limbs' protests and saw two ten foot tall stakes sticking out of a newly dug hole. Tied to them was Alexa and Cole. Both were still unconscious.
"Finally," a voice mused. "You've been out for a day." I turned to see Pendara leaning against a tree arms folded. "It's time."
My eyes widened with terror. I took a long glance at the sky, it seemed to be in the afternoon. That's too early for the Ritual now.
"Cole, Alexa," I managed to croak.
Both of their heads drooped lifelessly. I felt my heartbeat pick up. I shut my eyes trying to send a mental message to Jayden, Ryan, anybody.

Ryan POV

"Where is she?" Jayden growled.
"She's not here, that's for sure," the General smirked.
With an eye roll, Emily slowly made another cut into the Nighlok General. He screamed in agony until Emily removed her Spin Sword.
"Where, is, she?" Jayden repeated.
"This is pointless," I announced. "This moron's not gonna crack."
My vision became hazy as a blinding pain struck in my head. My knees buckled as I struggled to see the dusty floorboards.
'Ryan, Ryan help!' a voice in my head cried.
The voice stopped and took the pain with it.
"What happened?" Emily asked.
"Natalie, she's in trouble," I stated standing. "Pendara's starting the Ritual, we have to move now."

We arrived in the Shiba House where everyone was gathered.
"The Ritual's beginning," Kevin stated.
"Thanks for stating the obvious," I mumbled.
"Where though?" Mia frowned.
Another blinding pain struck through me this time a different voice.
'Ryan! You have to help us! The Ritual's starting!" the voice belonged to Alexa.
Without a word I began walking outside the Shiba House. I continued walking seeing a white, silver, and orange trail of color as I walked. The others were close in pursuit asking questions. I paid no attention to them and continued walking. Of course, she would have it where we would search. Pendara's not as unpredictable as you would think.
