Natalie POV
"Something is wrong with Mia," I stated. "Why would she need a Sun and Moon Ritual?"
"Maybe, she was looking for a recipe in one of the books?" Kevin offered.
"I highly doubt that," Lauren said. "She would need the Sun Ranger and Moon Ranger for it."
"Which we have," Alexa spoke up. "I'm the Moon Ranger and Cole is the Sun Ranger."
"But don't we need it to be equal, for day and night to be at equal points?" I pointed out.
"That would be the equinox," Cole said. "We have a few months until it comes. It's already July and we only have two months."
"Hi everyone, what are we talking about?" Mia said entering the room.
"Nothing, just planning your birthday," Antonio said.
Mia looked surprised at this somehow.
"What were you doing with all the books?" I asked.
"Just umm, reading for fun," she hesitated.
Everyone exited the room. I turned to my room to see Mia standing in front of me. Yup, not suspicious at all.
"Natalie, you're becoming a nuisance," she said in the voice from earlier.
"So it's true, Pendara really did possess you, didn't she?" I demanded.
"Mia" shrugged casually and turned to the mirror. In it was well Mia, except with a dying expression. Her skin was growing paler and she was in a white gown.
"Natalie, I'm dying!" Mia/Pendara cried.
"What did you do to her?" I glared.
"Can't you shut up for once?" Mia/Pendara said still staring at the mirror before turning to me.
"I'm not afraid of you."
Within the next instant Mia/Pendara grabbed me by the throat slamming me against the wall.
"Then you are incredibly stupid!" she hissed.
"Mia?" a voice asked.
Mia/Pendara turned where Kevin stood puzzled. I twisted Mia's wrist and her grip loosened as I slammed her wrists against her back. Mia easily released herself form my grip and slammed her foot into my chest. I fell into the coffee table earning myself a few cuts and bruises.
"You couldn't have shut your mouth?" Mia asked throwing another kick.
I grab onto Mia's ankle midair and twist it until Mia flips over. She quickly stood and threw a punch which I dodged.
Everyone was soon drawn to what was going on and they gaped as the fight between Mia and I continued. Sure, no need to help me, I'm doing just fine holding my own.
Mia threw another punch which slammed into my jaw. My head tilted back and I could feel my jaw throbbing already.
"Let's see what this body can do," Mia muttered.
Mia shot out a gust of wind from her palms and I was blasted back onto the ground. Out of the corner of my blurry vision I saw somebody using Symbol Power.
