    I sip my coffee and stare at the man, sitting opposite to me, who kept shaking his leg. "So how could you do this to me?" I cross my arms in front of my chest, trying to look intimidating.

He opens his mouth, then closes it and then bursts out , " I'm sorry! I I didn't mean to do it you know!"

"Aaron I trusted you! I'm just disappointed you know." I said sighing.

"Okay I promise I will watch Venom again." He sighed and held out his pinky. I narrowed my eyes sending him the deadliest glare I could and turned away.

He said he couldn't make it to watch the movie when it hit the theatres and I was fine with it. I didn't even go and watch it. But he had the audacity to download it and watch it without informing me!

"Oh come on now Em! It's just a movie!" He throws his hands in the air. I widen my eyes, "Ju..Just a movie?! I screeched. He flinched as I continued, "Yeah maybe now when I watch the new episodes of Game Of Thrones I will also be like " I finger quote and mimicked his voice, "It's just a show!"

He rolls his eyes as I'm overreacting. Okay maybe I am, but I have the right! Ever since we have been kids and known about Marvel, it was kind of our thing to watch it together.

Aaron ringed me up this afternoon and said he wanted to meet up this evening to discuss some matters with me, and said that he would pay for food too.

I had seen his story two days back and had to confront him about it. I got to make him feel guilty and got free food too! It was a win win situation for me, honestly.

"Anyways how did you find out o watched it?" He asked, taking a bite of his heavenly looking chocolate cake.

I shrugged, " I saw it in your Instagram story."

He frowned, " I thought I changed the settings and hid it from you."

I angrily grab a spoon and take a large bite out of his cake. He looks at me in disbelief and I smirk, "Payback!"

"So how's work?" He raised his brow and asked. I try to smile and give him a thumbs up.

It has been almost three months since we came back from the trip to Croatia. After what I thought was the happiest day ever, everything went downhill. For some reason we left the next day. Harry pretended that the day never happened. He was back being the bossy and moody asshole.

I tried to talk to him, but every time he would steer clear and walk away. I stopped trying to make any conversations with him, and the only time we did speak were in meetings. He would send someone else to hand over files and ask me to hand over files to his secretary who would give it to him.

To make matters worse and kind of like adding salt to the burn, he was seeing some one new. I guess it was some business tycoon's daughter or something. I mean yeah they are the perfect pair!

I mostly stayed home or kept myself occupied with work. I spent most of my time with Aaron, trying to keep my mind away for the green eyed jerk.

Natalie was also busy with the new contract between Styles and Zail and indeed the office was always hustling with people of both the companies.

A shrill ringtone caught my attention. "Pick up!" I muttered at my brother who was busy hogging his cake.

"Hi mum!" He replied. I looked wide eyed. Mum rarely called me. It was normally dad who called me for a few weeks.

I heard the two ramble on about something and then he hung up. "What did you do huh? Mom calls you and not me?!" I tried not to sound like a whiny kid.

"Well she does love me more and you are adopted."

"Ha Ha you are so funny." I replied, rolling my eyes at him.

"Enough about me, what about you? How's life? Any girl catch your eye?" I wiggle my eyebrows.

"Yeah life's good.And.. actually I wanted to meet up for that very reason.." he says quite nervously.

I smile widely and giving him a nod as an indication to continue.

He sighed and pushes his hand through his hair, giving it a messy look which every girl back in school died for. "I'm seeing someone for like a year or so and I want you to meet her." I can see a hint of red on his cheeks. My brother dated rarely and I haven't seen him so flustered about anyone.

"Oh my god! I get to be sister in law! But I kind of feel bad for your girl. Maybe she is forced to date you or something." I teased.

He looks nowhere and sighs dreamily, " Yeah my girl."

I awed and ruffle his hair, knowing how much he hates it.

"Thanks for dropping me." I smile and crush my elder brother into a hug.

"You don't need to thank me kiddo."

"Text me details about when I get to meet this mysterious girl who makes my brother all lovey dovey Kay?"

"Yeah yeah. Now bye good night!" He leans down living a kiss on my head and walks to his car.

I head into the house and close the door behind me. My mind starts thinking about who I should not be thinking about at this moment. I have thoughts about not being good enough or pretty enough and it annoys and angers me how much of an effect he left on me.

As I walk I catch my reflection on one of the mirrors. I see back a different girl. She does have the same hair, same face, same height, but isn't me. She has sad eyes, dark circles underneath too. I block all negative thought and point at the mirror. Maybe I'm crazy for talking to my self. "You are perfect and confident. Don't let anyone else make you think other wise kay?" I said sternly.

I go into my room and dive straight under the covers. I lay on my back and stare at the ceiling. I yawn, as I am tired and am about to go to sleep when my phone starts ringing, almost scaring me by its loud annoying ringtone.

"Ughh!" I groan and get out of bed and pick up without bothering to check the caller ID.

"Hello?!"

"Hey Em!"

"Liam? Why are you calling me? " I remove the phone from my heat and glance at the screen before pressing it back against my ear and continue, "At twelve twenty three in the night? Or I guess it's already morning?"

"Nat.. She's stressing out.. I.. I don't know what to do! Can you come over? Please!?" Liam stutters sounding quiet worried and on the verge of panicking.

I fumbled around and grabbed my bag, "I'm on my way!" I cancelled the call and leave out of the front door.

Well here's a chapter for you guys who have been sticking around. Not much just a filler.

Thank you guys for the supporting comments and not giving up on this book. To be honest I thought of completely winding this book with out anything further. But kinda didn't want to destroy the dreams of 13 year old me 😂

So I might upload chapters like really late but no way am I abandoning this book even though when I read the chapters it makes me cringe and beat myself up 😁
