Attraction

t w e n t y-s i x // deja vu

  I rushed towards the elevator and pressed the button of the floor I was working in. Tapping my feet on the ground, I waited.

We were again having quite a hectic week. A new project, new investors, new designs. Mostly everything was new. The people we contacted this time was totally new to.

  The deal with Liam's and Louis's company was done final long back. The work for the deal was currently in progress but the green eyed boss of this office, didn't want to reject any offers with new people / companies.

  Getting off the elevator, I rushed to my desk and grabbed the required file.

For the last two weeks I had been going with my boss for business meetings around the city. Most of the time he did the talking while I just gave them a view into the office working and held out a brief conversation of all the terms and conditions.

It was different to see him interact with all the other businessmen. At first all were not very sure to join or work with him, because of his young age but then, after hearing him speak with dignity and respect, they were convinced to agree with us.

  There still was a heavy tension between us both ; as in  Harry and I. He would be mean, cold and demanding, while I would only listen to his command related to work. If not, I would ignore him or comment back sarcastically.

  And again being an idiotic clumsy self, I had an attraction towards him which in no way I was going to accept nor let out to him, or in fact anyone I knew.

  With the required file, I rushed up the stairs as the elevator was down the first floor and if I was late and did not reach his office within three minutes, I was sure of being kicked out with no salary!

I took large steps, covering two steps at a time. After a few jumps and tripping here and there, I reached. Clutching my stomach I panted heavily and walked over to his make up faced barbie doll and pushed out a strand of hair from my face and said, "Tell him I'm here with his file."

She looked at me like I was someone inferior to her and picked up the phone and informed him I was here. "Get in he's waiting."

I pushed open the heavy doors of his office and got in. Closing the doors behind me, I stood there as Harry kept walking back and forth with a file in his left hand and a pen in his right, probably circling the mistakes.

I let out a cough to get his attention and he raised his head up and placed the file he had been holding down on his desk.

"At last! Listen I need you to get the best editor out from this office and hand over the red file." He walked over towards me and drew out his hand, and I took the signal to give him the file. Taking it he gave a slight nod and I took the red file and was about to leave when he called me over.

"Yep?" I was still panting due to running up more than three floors. "Who did this file?" He asked with his eyebrows furrowed. "Uhm.. I did it..?" Yes! At last he was going to maybe increase my salary or maybe give me a bonus because that was the best file I put up till now.

"Are you kidding me?!" He barked. Wait what? Oh no! I guess my dreams and hopes are crushed already. "Uhmm.. No I really did it!" I said.

"No shit!" He drew a hand through his hair. "You call this a file? Who puts up the logo in the right corner? It's always on the left! And the company's name as a footer? Listen in running the best company and it never, when I say never I mean never can be at the bottom of anything!"

Was he serious right now? I get it that this enterprises is one of the best but this egoistic and arrogant? Well he really needs to get his mental health issues checked up.

"What did you.. God! You could have at least as for assistance and help from someone-" My emerald eyed boss kept shouting at me when suddenly my phone started ringing at the loudest volume. Oh joy!

He glared at me, while I shamelessly took out my ringing phone from the back pocket of my jeans. He walked towards me and snatched it out of my hand. Don't break it. Don't break it!

His posture was stiff, as he literally just gave a cold stare at my flashing screen. His biceps were the only thing unfortunately I could care at the moment.

Turning his cold stare towards me, he showed the phone into my face, and said angrily, "Why is he out of all the people calling you? "

I pushed his hand a bit back, and moved myself a few step back and blinked my eyes to see the caller ID clearly. It read 'LUKEY' with a heart emoticon beside.

I grabbed it from his hand and picked up the call, as I was pretty sure if I ignored the call, he was going to call till I picked up. Just as I was going to held up the phone up to my ear, Harry pulled it out of my hands and spoke in his husky voice.

"Hello. I would appreciate it if you stop calling here on this number."

"Holy cheese balls, no offence but I'm more closer to her and know her more better so I can do whatever I want kay?" Luke said back sassily.

Harry hanged up and threw my precious phone onto the sofa. Taking a step forward he spat, "Why the fuck is he calling you?"
There's no way I'm going to stand quite and not do anything about this abuse he's doing on me. Though he isn't abusing me.

"He's my really close friend." I spoke back, strongly, trying my best to not let my voice go down.

Taking two steps forward his hands formed into fists. I took a step back and realized I was backed up against the wall.

He came closer almost just a few inches away. It felt like de ja vu again. I could find myself go back to my first day to this office. We were in the same position, similar situation; him pissed me back answering.

Yes I know this is such a late update! I was going to put up this chapter on Harry's birthday but editing just sucked. Anyways this chapter ain't that edited, so please excuse and forgive me.
