It would really mean a lot of you guys vote and comment your views. But anyways enjoy this chapter!

It's been a month almost since the party at the club. Hearing a lot of gossips and embarrassing things I had done, makes me quite regret going to the party.

"Hey! Are you even listening to me?" Evan snapped his fingers in front of my face. I blinked twice, before nodding my head," Yeah.. Continue." I tried not to blank out again, and continued to work on the files and listened carefully to his story of how he fought a ninja or some thing like that.

"Um.. If you don't mind, can I ask you a question?"

"Well technically you already asked a question right now!"

He looked serious and I stopped laughing. He fiddled with his thumbs and said," Would you like to catch dinner with me? I mean.. Not like friends.. I mean shoot like friends.. But not umm.. Yeah.." He sheepishly smiles and his lower neck region growing red.

Did Evan just ask me out? He looked so adorable, flushed with embarrassment and all.

I tried laying off my smirk and asked, " Evan are you asking me on a date?" He rolled his eyes and replied, " If that's what you wish!"

"Kay. I'll go out with you!"

"Really? Kay so um.. Tonight I'll pick you up at 7:00 pm?"

"Yes that's cool!" I smiled. He went back to his desk, probably going back and going his work. Niall poked his head above his desk, " At last someone got asked out!" He teased. I narrowed my eyes at him, and he immediately shut up.

Taking hold of my other file, I sighed. Getting the contract with Liam's company was in no way all good. We were more pressurised to work, and reach his standards and expectations.

Harry would rarely stay at the office, mostly out doing business deals and meetings with international market. It was a busy and boring month to be honest.

Just then, my office phone rang, and everyone on that particular floor turned their heads towards my desk. It most probably was Harry, but ringing up after almost a month? Wait, I'm I getting kicked out? I pick up the phone and before I can respond, he just mutters with a cold tone, "Office now!"

I scurry towards the lift and wait for it to arrive. Dusting the invisible dust from my pants, I chew on my bottom lip.

Entering the lift, different thoughts roam around my head. Was there any file or any work I missed, or worse do wrong? The doors opened faster than usual.

Breathing in - breathing out, I knocked the door twice, when his muffled voice ordered me to enter. Pushing open the door, I saw him sitting in front of his desk, his eyes on the screen, jaw tightly clenched.

Awkwardly standing in middle of the room, I played with the bracelets on my wrist, I new hobby I adopted, when nervous.

"I have a important business meeting with Mr. Lenser . I'm sure you've heard his name." He spoke, with no hint of emotion. I nodded my head. His eyes left the screen and locked with mine. "So.. Why are you telling me this..?" I asked.

He got up from his seat, walked towards me till there was some distance between us. His height towered upon me, and I regretted not wearing my heels today.

He pushed his hair back and cleared his throat, " Well he is doing this meeting at an Italian restaurant.. I'll pick you up at 7:00."

I remembered I had decided to go out with Evan today. "Sir, in sorry but I don't think I'll be able to come." I said. He frowned and said, " What other important duty do you have? You work for me, under me, you will have to do as I say."

"Umm.I.. I have a date with Evan?" I gazed at the floor, as I felt his eyes burn holes. He took a step ahead, glaring, " Well cancel your plans and stop sleeping around with my employees." I watched him with my mouth hanging open. He did not falsely accuse me of sleeping around!

I opened my mouth to defend my self when he continued, cutting me off, " I'll pick you up at 7:00 pm sharp tonight. Dress nice." His voice was emotionless yet again and his emerald orbs stared into my brown ones.

We stood there, for I think a minute or two when he moved away and sat back in his previous position. " You may leave now. " I left his office right away.

"Umm.. If I cant make it tonight?"

"Sorry, I have to attend somewhere else."

"I'm sick!"

"I have lots of work?"

For the past hour, instead of focusing on the files given on my desk, I was busy thinking of what I could tell Evan. I felt bad and guilty for cancelling today's plan, but didn't have the guts to go walk up to him and reject him.

I had three hours left before it was 7:00pm. I was allowed to leave at four today. Gabbing the water bottle on the end of the desk, I took large sips from it.

"Evan!" I finally got the guts, and called him over. He sent me a half worried smile, and walked over. "I'm sorry but I have to cancel tonight's plan! I will make it up to you some other time for sure!" I gushed out.

"Thank god! I was scared but I also have plans cause my family decided to visit out of nowhere.. So maybe some other time?" He smiled and said.

I nodded my head and continued working on the files with concentration. The first two files went and got over swiftly while I was struggling on fixing the errors and drawbacks of the third file, when Perrie's voice made me look at her, " Weren't you supposed to leave at five?" I look towards the watch and she continues, " It's five forty five."

My eyes widen and I carelessly push the files on one side of the table. Grabbing my things and shoving them into my bag, I hastily leave with a small goodbye.

Catching a cab after five minutes, I realise it is six, when I reach home. Entering, I notice Nat is still at work. Walking to my wardrobe, I look through all my clothes, trying to find a formal dress. I had done my researches on Mr. Lenser. He was a old but clever Australian businessman.

His son, Luke Lenser [not Hemmings] was a notorious man, who only partied and spent his father's wealth. Normally whenever Mr. Lenser is out of station, he overtakes of his company, which on most cases causes loss for the company.

Finding a pretty grey dress at the end of my closet, I pull it out of the hanger. By luck, I find Natalie's silver pumps, which match the dress. To finish the whole outfit, I add a pair loop earring and some silver bracelets.

Going to the washroom, I take a short shower. The dress is sleeveless but has a design slightly similar to that of a turtle neck sweater. It is full which touches the ground and flares out below the waist.

One more thing I found out about Mr. Lenser was that he made deals and held business meetings mostly at couple or family Italian restaurants, but the most pricy and expensive ones. Dearly dedicated to Italian food I guess.

I let my hair up into a pretty bun hair do. Some of the bangs and strands fell on the sides, framing my face in a delicate manner. I did a thick winged eyeliner, followed by my lips in a bright dark shade of red.

I glanced at the watch, and the clock struck 7:00. I grabbed my black clutch, placing all the required items in it.

Was I over dressed? I questioned as I took a look at myself on the full length mirror. I looked completely different and transformed.

The doorbell rang, and I slipped into Natalie's pumps. Grabbing a piece of paper, I wrote down a message informing where I was going and all and taped it to the refrigerator. The door bell continued ringing when I rushed and opened the door.

There stood Harry. He was wearing a white shirt, a black coat over it. His infamous black skinny jeans hugged his tall thin legs. "How much time does it-" he looked up and shut up. His eyes raked my body from head to toe.

I actually felt good for the first time, being this dressed up.
