My Little Pony: Love is Magic

Prologue

The small town had a burst of morning sun. Slightly chilly as they were getting into the Winter season slowly. It became foggy in the forests. Anyone who went there would have surely gotten lost.

"Come on, Maple!" Lemon Pie said with a little giggle.

She was dragging her boyfriend, Maple Syrup, through the forest and through the heavy morning fog.

"I'm coming!" Maple Syrup said, stumbling behind Lemon. "But this fog is pretty thick." "We'll be fine!" Lemon said cheerfully.

Lemon and Maple had just found themselves becoming a new couple. Before they were best friends and it slowly turned into something more. Lemon tended to always bring Maple into situations he usually didn't want to be in, but this time she wanted to show him something very special.

They ran and laughed through the thick fog and trees before coming to an open cave.

"Here it is!" Lemon Pie said excitedly.

She put one hand on her hip.

"What is this place?" Maple asked in amazement.

"I'll show you."

Lemon dragged Maple in to the cave with an excited smile.

Throughout the rocky oasis were crystals of many shapes and colors stabbing through the rocky walls. Some even jabbing out from the floor.

The cave eventually went through. Opening up a big chamber. In the middle, stood the Tree of Harmony.

The Tree of Harmony was the symbol of all friendship and magic in Equestria. Anyone could see and admire it as long as they didn't get too close to it. Only the Main Six ( Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, & Pinky Pie) could stand by it. For it was too dangerous for those who's marks don't behold it.

"The Tree of Harmony..." Maple Syrup said in awe.

"I know right!" Lemon Pie said.

She jumped up in excitement.

"But how did you find the location of it?!" Maple asked, rather surprised.

He had always heard that the main six were the only ones who knew of the tree's location.

"I have friends who know friends," Lemon said with a little giggle.

They ran down the rocky staircase till morning came when they went back up.

The small cafe wasn't very vacant. On Mondays, they didn't get much customers.

Lemon Pie and Maple Syrup sat in one of the back tables outside, taking in the first sunny morning Ponyville had for a long time. They talked and laughed.

Along across the outside tables were Maple and Lemon's friend, Honey Bake. She had noticed them talking and decided to say hello.

"I see you two are here once again," Honey said to them with a sweet smile.

Lemon and Maple stopped talking and looked over at her.

"Honey!" Lemon said cheerfully.

Honey giggled.

"So how's the happy couple doing?" she asked.

Lemon and Maple lost their once happy expressions. They both looked over at each other. Honey Bake soon became confused as well.

"What's the matter?" Honey asked, also losing her happy expression.

"Ummm..." Lemon hesitated.

Maple jumped in.

"W-We're not dating anymore..."

Honey became more confused.

"Seriously?!" she said. "You two were like, all over each other just yesterday! I thought you two were happy together." "We were but..." Maple started. "We thought that we would both be happier with being friends!"

They both got an unnerving smile on their faces. Like, some messed up smiles.

"Oh... okay then..." Honey Bake said disappointedly. "I'll just take your order then."

And she did just that.

Honey Bake was upset since she'd known that her friends liked each other for so long, and she knew they were happy being together... so what had happened?

Much like Honey, no one else knew what happened. When people would ask what they did the day before becoming friends again, they said that they just stayed inside their homes doing nothing.
