"What are you thinking about?" Chloe asked as she rested in the arms of her wife.

The two of them were on the final leg of their honeymoon and since it was raining outside, they decided to stay in and laze about until the rain stopped. So they were still in bed listening to the rain falling, which sent Beca into a light sleep until Chloe spoke to her.

"How comfy this bed is," Beca murmured.

"Comfier than our own?"

"Second best."

Chloe giggled and pecked her wife's cheek then began tracing small circles on Beca's chest. Ever since the other day, Chloe couldn't stop thinking about that family she saw in Berlin. Every day she wanted to get the courage to ask Beca about having a family of their own but she always put it aside since she wasn't sure how Beca would react and she didn't want to ruin their honeymoon. However, it was eating away at Chloe so that's when she decided to just get it over with.

"Bec?"

"Mm?" Beca just managed to voice.

"Do you want a family one day?"

Beca opened her eyes and looked up at the ceiling.

"I don't know."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that I don't know if I want a family. Perhaps one day. Is this why you've been a bit quiet recently?"

Chloe sighed. "I want a family."

"Right now?"

"No, not right now but eventually."

"And when that time comes we'll talk about it. There's no rush, Chlo."

"I know there's not but... I feel like we should talk about it."

"Babe, we've got one week left of our honeymoon. Surely it can wait?"

Chloe signed again. She had gone a while without saying anything but she just had to get it off her chest.

"You're right. I'm sorry, babe. I just wanted to talk to you about it that's all."

"Chlo," Beca grabbed the redhead's hand and kissed it gently. "We have all the time in the world to talk about that stuff, okay? I understand that it's important to you but let's just enjoy our honeymoon. I mean, we just got married so we don't need to rush into things."

Chloe nodded. "I'm sorry, babe. It's just been playing on my mind recently and who knows, maybe it's just the honeymoon that's making me feel these things."

"It's okay, Chlo. You don't need to be sorry - I get it. Let's just enjoy the rest of our honeymoon and once we settle back at home, we can revisit this conversation if you want to."

Chloe smiled softly. Even though Beca had been out of school for several years now, Chloe still couldn't believe the maturity the younger woman held. Beca had always been mature and it was one of many things that drew Chloe to her. Beca may have been a student but to Chloe, she was far more than that, which is what made it relatively easy for them to pursue a relationship together. It was the best risk either of them ever took.

"Thank you, babe," Chloe leaned up and kissed Beca's cheek. "We'll talk more about it later."

"Sounds good to me. Now, are you hungry? It's creeping up to lunchtime."

"I am actually."

"Good." Beca kissed the older woman's head before sliding out of bed in her naked glory, which Chloe didn't hesitate to check out.
