Stacie and Aubrey jumped at the voice from behind them and Aubrey spoke immediately.

"It's not what it looks like!"

"Oh, really? Because it looks like you two just kissed!"

"It's exactly what it looks like," Stacie smirked.

"Please don't tell Jesse!" Aubrey begged.

Beca sighed and raked a hand through her hair. "What the Hell are you doing, Aubrey? How could you do this to Jesse? After everything that he's done for you."

"I know, I know..."

"No, you don't know!"

"I DO know, which is why I stopped seeing Stacie!"

"Wait... so you two were actually seeing each other behind Jesse's back?"

Aubrey and Stacie nodded.

"How long has this been going on for?"

Aubrey sighed then looked at Stacie then back at Beca.

"On and off for about four years."

"Four... Four years?" Beca said almost in the form of a shout. "Are you kidding me right now! How does Jesse not know?"

"Affairs are called affairs for a reason, Beca," Stacie spoke. "The whole point is so that he doesn't know."

"That's not right, Stacie. How could you do that to Jesse? We all grew up together and now you're screwing his finacée behind his back? Does he mean nothing to you?"

"It's not like that."

"Oh, isn't it? Then please explain to me what it IS like because it's not looking good from where I'm standing and as far as I'm concerned, Jesse has every right to know."

Stacie took a breath before speaking. "I've always had feelings for Aubrey. It wasn't until later on in school that I realised that she was smart, beautiful, and caring. I wanted her. But then I found out that Jesse was dating her so that put me out but my feelings for her never died. So, I pursued them. I know it was wrong but it's just how I felt. Once I graduated, Aubrey and I spent time together and it took us a while to get close but then I realised that I REALLY felt something for her. So, one night, Aubrey had a fight with Jesse and she came to me. We were having some drinks then I just went for it and kissed her. The thing was, we weren't even drunk. We kissed some more then we ended up going back to her place and... well... I think you can figure out the rest."

"Oh my God..." Beca rubbed her eyes.

"A bit off topic, but what are you doing out here anyway?" Stacie asked.

"Chloe wanted you to help her finish decorating the cake since you're very artsy so I went to get you then I came out to this!"

"Oh,"

"So... Let me make sure that I've got this right. You two are secretly seeing each other?"

"No," Aubrey shook her head. "I broke it off with Stacie about a month ago."

"We've been through this before, Aubrey," Stacie said. "We take a little break then you come back. You always come back."

"Not this time. I'm getting married and I'm going to have a baby. I can't keep doing this with you. I need to give my child a stable home."

"And a stable home is going to be based on lies? Aubrey, come on!"

"She's right," Beca agreed and Aubrey just glared at her.

"Aubrey," Stacie pulled the blonde's attention back to her. "You know I have feelings for you. You know I love you and you know that I'd do anything for you. I know you're pregnant with Jesse's child but... if you come with me and be with me we can raise it together. We can be a family if you really want. I can't just sit by and watch you marry him."
