Stacie woke the next morning with a hangover. The brunette didn't expect to drink so much but Tom was good company so she kept drinking and drinking as he did. It was a fun night and the woman was able to unwind from her long day. Even though Stacie wasn't really in the mood to talk to anyone last night, she enjoyed talking to Tom as her friend rather than her teacher. He was a pretty cool guy in her opinion and she could see why he and Chloe got on so well. They were quite similar in some ways. The two of them spent hours talking about whatever they could think of and they enjoyed every moment of it.
Stacie rubbed her eyes, hating how the sunlight was increasing the pain of her headache. As much as she didn't want to, the brunette rolled onto her back and sat up. She groaned then flung her legs over the side of the bed and stood, only to realise that she wasn't wearing any clothes. That's when Stacie's heart began to pound and it almost flew out of her chest when she turned around to see who was lying next to her.
"Oh, shit..." Stacie uttered when she saw Tom fast asleep and he too had a lack of clothing. "Oh, no..." Stacie leapt up and quickly put her clothes back on.
She tried to be quiet but she accidentally stubbed her toe at the end of the bed.
"Ah! MOTHER!"
"Mm..." Tom began to stir slowly.
Stacie didn't move in hope that he'd go back to sleep but the man woke and saw Stacie standing at the end of the bed.
"Stacie? What's going on?" He mumbled.
"Ah... Umm..."
"Wait..." Tom frowned then looked at Stacie's messy attire before looking down at his naked body under the sheets. "Oh no..."
"Ah huh,"
"Oh, shit... Stacie, I..."
"It's okay, Tom. We all make mistakes. Don't worry about it."
"No, I'm so sorry. I had no idea... I was so drunk."
"We both were so there's no need to worry."
"I know but... you were my student and it just feels... kinda wrong."
"Yeah, I know but we're both adults now. No one has to know so it's alright. I won't tell anyone if you don't."
"Okay, sure," Tom nodded then sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Ah, are you alright heading out?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for a good night. The talking part."
"Oh,"
"Like, the sex was good but..."
"It's fine," he chuckled. "We don't need to talk about that. I enjoyed our time at the bar, too."
"Exactly. The time at the bar."
"Yes," he nodded.
"I, um, if we ever see each other again I hope we can still be friends? You're a cool guy and it wasn't my plan to... do what we did."
"It wasn't mine either but it just goes to show that alcohol makes you do strange things."
"That's for sure," she laughed.
"But, yeah, I'd like us to be friends, too. You're fun to hang out with."
"You, too."
Stacie and Tom stared at each other for a little while until Stacie snapped out of it.
"Okay, well, I should probably go."
"Oh, here, let me give you my number," Tom suggested.
"Ah, sure," Stacie handed Tom her phone where he put his number in then Stacie put hers in his phone. "Alright, well, I better go now."
