"You know, I still can't believe Aubrey. I really, really can't," Beca said as she sat in bed going through her emails on her phone. "Jesse is such a good guy and he's always been there for Aubrey but she goes and cheats on him with Stacie. Stacie! Of all people! Surely, it would have been easier if she slept with a total stranger?"

"You think?" Chloe said from the bathroom.

"I don't know. I've never cheated or been cheated on but putting myself in his shoes, I'd think so. It still would be terrible though. I can't imagine what he's going to go through if he's not going through it now. I'm just so angry at Aubrey."

"Me, too, but we need to just wait it out and let her do the right thing as you said. It'll be hard on him but he'll get through it. He's got us and we'll help him get through it just like we did when he lost his father."

"Damn right we will. You have no idea how much I just wanna go over there, tell him, and yell at Aubrey."

"I think I do, babe. We just need to be patient and try not to think about it."

"It's hard NOT to think about it. It's the biggest bombshell EVER!"

"I know but we need to respect their business even if we were... dragged into it, for a lack of better word."

"Yeah, I suppose you're right," Beca sighed then rubbed her eyes, feeling her weariness catch up with her.

It had been a busy day and Beca was glad that it was over. She was never fond of elongated parties in her own house. There was no escape until everyone left but Chloe loved them so, of course, they had the party at their house.

Beca was in the middle of reading an email when Chloe walked out of the bathroom with an odd expression on her face. It was kind of like a smile but not really. Beca couldn't make heads or tails of it.

"What's wrong?" Beca asked.

"Nothing,"

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

Chloe bit down on her lip.

"Seriously, Chlo, you're kinda creeping me out."

Chloe's smile grew as she climbed onto the bed, took Beca's phone, and put it on her bedside table. Beca watched Chloe in confusion as the redhead grabbed Beca's hands and placed something in them. Beca looked down at a white stick, which she soon realised was a pregnancy test that was positive. Beca's eyes widened and her mouth dropped open.

"R... rea... really?"

"Ah huh," Chloe nodded.

"You're... you're... pregnant? Like, actually pregnant?"

"Yes," she giggled.

"Oh my God!" Beca beamed then hugged her wife instantly. "Oh, I'm so proud of you!"

Chloe giggled in Beca's ear and hugged her tightly and Beca became so overwhelmed that she started to cry.

"Oh, babe!" Chloe pulled back.

"Sorry, this is just so amazing..." She wiped her eyes then placed her hands on Chloe's stomach. "You're carrying a little me in there?"

"Yes," she smiled.

Beca shifted so her face was in front of Chloe's stomach. She lifted up Chloe's pyjama top and kissed her belly.

"Hey, baby girl... It's mama," Beca spoke softly.

Chloe giggled as she teased her fingers through Beca's hair.

"I love you. Yes, I do." Beca kissed Chloe's stomach several more times, which made the redhead giggle. "Oh, this is going to be so great," Beca sat back up. "We're going to have a little baby girl and she's gonna have red hair and bright blue eyes or brown hair and dark blue eyes or whatever traits biology decides to give her. Either way, she's going to be perfect because she's ours and she's already perfect. She's growing as we speak."
