"An idea? What kind of idea?" Kyo asked, hoping it wasn't anything potentially dangerous.

"Later tonight let's have a test of courage!" Yuki exclaimed happily, raising her arm high with intense enthusiasm. The other girls looked at her and then at Kyo, who mentally sighed.

"A test of courage sounds like a fun idea" said Rii-san, she brushed her hair back and put her hands together, "we can all see who's the bravest out of everyone in the club"

Yuki cheered while the others felt uneasy but quickly went along with the idea, believing Rii-san had her own idea in mind besides just going along with the pink haired girl's little challenge for them.

"Okay! I'll go let Megu-nee know about it!" Yuki ran out of the club room happily.

"Senpai, are you sure about this?" Miki asked.

Rii-san nodded and smiled. "We just need to be careful, that's all"

---

The sun went down and the moon came up, meaning it was time for the test of courage to begin for the club members. Everyone made their way to the staircase with Yuki leading the way with a proud march.

"Test of courage! Test of courage!" The girl sang happily.

"You don't seem scared at all" Kyo said, walking behind the group. Yuki nodded and stopped marching, pointing to him and then at herself. "Of course I am! After all, we're at school, but seeing a ghost would be scary"

"Yes, that's right", said Rii-san, a strange and creepy aura flowing around her. "No one should be here at this hour.."

The vibe coming from her sent shivers down Miki's and Kirumi's spines, even Kyo felt a slight shudder. The aura surrounding her then faded and she smiled at them. "But no one will be around so it's fine"

Rii-san then put the radio she had on the stairs and played a soft tune. "Ghost feel really lonely so you should play music to attract them"

Yuki gasped and slightly shivered. "R-really?"

"Oh, are you getting scared?" Kurumi teased and poked her head with a smug grin. The pink haired girl shook her head and puffed out her chest.

"Of course not!" She exclaimed and they continued their journey.

Once they reached the school store Kyo looked around, the store didn't seem messy and he observed the candy and other various snacks on the shelves.

Kurumi observed some gardening tools, wondering if they could be useful weapons but shook her head. Everyone then heard Yuki suddenly yell and rushed to her side.

"Yuki?!"

They all looked that the girl kneeling down with her back facing them and she soon turned to face them, holding a small pack of balloons. "Look! Isn't this amazing, we could use these for Kyo-kun! He's new to the club and we should celebrate!"

"That's why you yelled like that?" Kurumi said in irritation, using her shovel to strangle the other girl. "We thought you were in trouble or something, don't worry us like that!"

Yuki frantically apologized, trying to get free from her hold. Kyo sighed softly, regaining his composer from the slight scare, he may be new in the group but if Yuki is already making him worry like this then he can't imagine what other mini heart attacks she gave to the others way before he arrived.

After getting what they needed the crew made their way to the library, a few books were scattered across the floor here and there.

Once again the young pink haired girl became excited. "Now I can get some manga!"

"You should also get some text books to help you study"

Rii-san's comment was enough to make Yuki's energy die down a bit and she hurried off to another isle of books "I'm gonna grab some books!"

Kyo sighed, "This girl..." he muttered and followed her. Once he found her he saw her reach for a manga, speaking to someone who wasn't there which of course was Megu-nee.

"You shouldn't run off like that" Kyo said looking down at the smaller girl. "Oh sorry.. Megu-nee told me that too just now"

"It's alright just-" Kyo's sentence was cut off as he and Yuki heard something behind them, they quickly turned and saw a figure walk by.

"Is that a ghost?" Yuki asked only to have Kyo cover her mouth for a quick second then looked at her. "Shh"

He took her to another isle to avoid catching unwanted attention. Yuki looked over for a moment as if someone spoke to her and looked at the male "We have to wait here"

The black haired male nodded and watched as Yuki went to the corner and kneeled down. He was about to leave to see if the others needed help but just seeing her get scared... He couldn't leave her side.

Kyo kneeled down beside her and gently patted her head, he could feel the girl's shivering stop after a few seconds. Kyo then heard a faint sound, figuring Kurumi handled the job, his assumption was proven as the others came over to them, shining the flashlight.

"Yuki-senpai! Kyo-senpai!" Miki said relieved to see them okay.

The two went over to them, Rii-san giving a concerned look. "Are you two alright?"

Kyo nodded and looked at Yuki. "We're fine, in fact Yuki handled herself quite nicely"

"You shouldn't get separated from us" said Rii-san, getting a hug from the small girl "I'm sorry!"

She then looked over to the end of isle. "What happened to the ghost?" She said, going silent and then speaking again. "It was a student? Oh okay!"

The girls smiled at Yuki as Kyo just stared at her for a bit before looking away.

"Did you enjoy the test of courage?" Rii-san asked with a smile, earning a happy nod from the pink haired girl.

"Let's do it again next year!"

"Sure, that's a promise"

And with that the girls put their hands together. "Kyo-kun! You too, you're a part of the club too!" Yuki smiled.

Kyo looked at all of them, seeing their kind expressions. That's right, he did ask to join and was accepted while he's not exactly close to the girls he may as well mark this night as his time to build a new bond with them.

"Of course" he said and got close, putting his hand on Yuki's, a slight smile on his face.

End.
