"Big brother! Please save me!" Rio cried out, getting surrounded by the undead, tears falling from her eyes.

"Rio!" Kyo ran towards her, cutting down the zombies, but no matter how many he cut more kept coming, getting closer and closer to the young girl.

"Big brother, please!"

"Rio!" Kyo reached out his hand, his sister's blood curdling scream ringing in his ears.

The teen's eyes shot open and he quickly sat up, sweating like crazy as he panted heavily, looking around the room he was in, his eyes soon stopping on Miki who was looking at him with a sad expression.

"Senpai?"

Kyo sighed and put his hand on his head, trying to calm down. "Did I worry you? Sorry about that.." he said softly.

"You must have had a bad dream.." Miki handed him a bottle of water and a napkin. The male thanked her and wiped his face, drinking some water as well.

"Yeah but I'm alright, it isn't the first one I've had. Way before I met you guys I've been dealing with them" he said, glancing out the window, remembering how he struggled to survive but quickly brushed those thoughts away.

"Anyway I'm guessing it's time for breakfast?"

"Ah! Y-yes"

"Then let's go" Kyo said and headed to the club room with her.

In the room were Yuki and Rii-san, sitting at the table and greeted Kyo with kind smiles. "Good morning, Kyo-chan!"

"Good morning, where's Kurumi?"

"She had something to take care of but she knows about the news!" The pink haired girl cheerfully exclaimed. "I see but what's the news exactly?"

"Yuki-chan wanted to throw a celebration for you joining us" Rii-san smiled softly. Kyo looked at the small girl who's face was as bright as usual.

"Thank you, Yuki" he said. The young girl stood up with a proud grin, putting her hand against her chest.

"Everyone is gonna work together to make you feel welcome! We'll start once Kurumi-chan gets back!"

Kyo and the two other girls nodded and Yuki happily left the club room to go have some fun and attend classes after she ate.

"Thank you for the food, Rii-san" the raven haired teen said as he beganto eat.

"You're welcome, please enjoy" the brunette smiled, cleaning the plates the other girls already used. Kyo knew he wasn't here that long but he was still impressed with how the girls survived on their own like this.

During his time on the roof with Kurumi that one night, he noticed the garden, which explains their food supply along with the snacks in the store. Kurumi is also a really capable fighter from what he's seen so far.

The teen looked down at his empty plate thoughtfully, these girls were a team, that was obvious and now he's a part of the team so he'll make sure to pull his weight.

He stood and cleaned his dishes, looking at Rii-san. "Anything you need help with?"

The girl smiled softly, putting a strand of hair behind her ear as she nodded. "The garden needs some work"

"I'll come too" Miki smiled softly.

The trio headed to the roof and Rii-san handed them gardening tools. "Do you have a green thumb, Kyo-kun?"

"Not really, my uncle and little sister were the experts" the said male replied, recalling some fond memories. Miki looked at him as she picked some veggies.

"If you don't mind me asking, what were they like?"

"My sister was very shy around new people but was always happy and never failed to bring positivity to the atmosphere" Kyo replied and looked at the clear blue sky, the wind blowing through his hair. "My uncle Kyoya was a playful man usually and would always be there for people in need, he knew what to say, funny how such a silly guy could be so wise at the same time"

The two girls looked at Kyo with sympathetic stares as he continued to speak.

"I also had two friends, Tyler and Myu. Tyler was sometimes hot headed and annoying but he always meant well. Myu kept him under control and was such a big rayof sunshine"

"Do you think they're both okay?" Rii-san asked softly, putting her hand on the teen's shoulder.

"I don't want to say, if I say yes I may break if that hope turns out to be false..." Kyo's gaze was at the ground, his hands clenched.

"I understand" Miki said looking at him. "I had a friend as well when this started but she left.."

"I'm sorry to hear that"

Miki smiled faintly and put her hand on her chest, closing her eyes. "Thinking about her still hurts but I've got everyone here now"

"That's right and you have us too, Kyo-kun" Rii-san smiled softly, giving the teen a pat on his back.

Kyo looked at them and nodded. "Yeah, I do" he said.

The girls smiled and they continued gardening.
