After doing some work on the garden Kyo and the two girls headed back inside, Rii-san and Miki both headed back to the club room while Kyo decided to go walk around for a bit.

The boy didn't really understand why he wanted to roam around since there clearly wasn't anything special to see but at least he could kill some time and wait for the celebration Yuki had planned for him. Walking around this ruined building made him feel somewhat nostalgic, being here in a school put some good memories in his head.

But the brain is weird like that, making people remember things they don't want to at unnecessary times. Kyo walked into an empty class room and sat at a desk, sighing softly as he rested his head on his hand, staring at the board at the front of the class.

"Man, why did the world change so suddenly like this..?" Kyo thought to himself.

What if his family were still with him?
What if his friends were still with him? Are they even alive?

The group here at the school would be much bigger that's for sure if they were around. But for now that's neither here nor there, right now Kyo needs to survive with these girls he met.

"Hey what areyou doing in here?" The cheerful and curious sounding voice of Yuki caught his attention, her head was tilted as she looked at him with that same innocent face she always had. "Your party is almost all set up!"

"Oh, really? I'll be there don't worry"

Yuki smiled and walked in the room, sitting in a desk right next to him, swaying her legs a bit. "So, do you like school?"

"I'd be lying if you said yes but I'm neutral about it, it's not awful by any means" he said, crossing is arms.

"Really? I love school, the classes, fun activities and all my friends, everything is so fun" Yuki smiled with a happy gleam in her pink eyes.

"That's good, you should cherish the things the things you love. The good times and bad ones"

Yuki looked at Kyo with awe, smiling sweetly. "You sound like a teacher!" She giggled, earning a look of surprise from the boy but she didn't notice it or maybe didn't think much of it thanks to her kind and carefree nature.

"I've never been compared to a teacher before but I guess I'll take that complement" he replied, "Kids did tend to look up to me"

"That's so cool!"

Yuki's energy gave Kyo a nice feeling, he had to admit it's been awhile since he's been around such positive energy. All of the girls had nice aura about them, yeah he's been with them for a short time but anyone could see they're good people.

"Yeah I guess it is but shouldn't we get ready for the activities you planned?"

"Ah yes! Come on!" She stood up from her seat and happily headed out of the classroom with Kyo right behind her.

They reached the club room and were greeted by the other girls.

"Surprise!"

The room had balloons and some snacks, along with tennis balls and a basket hooked up on the ceiling and some construction paper the had "welcome to the club" written on it.

Not the most extravagant decoration but with their current situation it was nice enough.

"You guys didn't have to do all this you know" Kyo said, looking at the set up and walked over to a tennis ball and picked it up.

"Nonsense, you deserve a welcoming party" Rii-san smiled, brushing her hair back a bit.  "Miki got one when she joined so of course you would get one"

"Yeah she also lost to me in a race so get ready to lose!" Kurumi said with confidence, holding her shovel over her shoulder, a grin on her face. "I'll even hold this as a handicap"

"If you're gonna challenge someone don't hold back, put the tool down and bring your best game" Kyo replied, a bit of confidence in his own words to show the girl he meant business while also trying to be a bit of a tease.

"Fine you're on!" The purple haired girl put the shovel down and stepped out into the hall, Miki went to the end of it and Kyo stood by Kurumi.

"On your mark, get set, go!" Miki announced and the two took off towards her, coming in a tie.

"You're pretty fast.." Kyo said as he caught his breath. It's to be expected, Kurumi was the only fighter in the group so it was only natural for her to be very athletic.

"Yeah you too" Kurumi replied and smiled, giving him a pat on the back.

Rii-san smiled and gave them a bottle of water to share. "You two have some speed"

"I want to race!" Yuki exclaimed as she raised her arm excitedly.

"Alright" Kurumi smiled, herself, Kyo and Yuki getting in a line and took off after Miki announced for them to take off. The two power houses left the poor girl in the dust and came in yet another tie.

"Awww! You guys are too fast!" Yuki laughed, sitting down on the floor as Kyo handed her the water bottle.

"We'll go easy on ya next time" Kurumi let out a laugh and helped her up.

"Ok!" Yuki grinned and headed back to the club room.
"Let's play something we all can have a chance at winning in" Rii-san smiled, referring to the tennis balls in the club room.

The others nodded and got an even number of balls after walking in the room. "First person to run out and get all the balls in the basket wins"

After hearing Rii-san's easy rules everyone began to throw their balls at the basket hanging above.

It was a good game aside from Yuki getting hit with her own balls a few times but on the bright side she was able to win.

For the rest of the day everyone played more games and ate the few snacks they had.

"Thanks everyone" Kyo said, facing the girls in front of him. "I really appreciated this"

"You're welcome! Let's all have fun again tomorrow!" Yuki smiled

"Senpai, some of us may be too tired tomorrow, we used a lot of energy today" Miki said with a sigh, Kyo thought it must be hard to keep up with Yuki's energy sometimes no matter how nice it clearly made others feel.

"Yeah we can have fun but we'll need to tone it down" Kurumi smiled, getting her shovel.

"I agree" Rii-san replied and patted the pink haired girl on her head. "For now we all need to get some rest"

"Yeah, rest well everyone" Kyo said as he walked out, the girls waving to him.

As he walked down the hall he looked out the window, noticing how the zombies were leaving the school.

"Have they always done that..?" He said to himself but brushed off the thought, if those things are gone he's got nothing to worry about.

He sighed as he entered his room and laid down, closing his eyes as a wave of relaxation washed over him.

While everyone was beginning to drift off to dream land no one was aware of the small group of zombies around the schools entrance.
