"She's up there!"
I covered my face as the girl hurtled rocks at us down below. Winston pulled me under his makeshift shield. Newt was standing under it too, and we locked eyes for a moment.
"Where's Thomas?!" Frypan yelled.
I looked around and noticed Thomas and Minho rushing over.
"Wow. Girls are awesome." Chuck laughed.
Thomas looked up and covered his face as rocks were thrown.
"Thomas! Do something!" Winston yelled.
Thomas yelled up.
"Hey! Hey! It's Thomas!"
The rocks stopped hitting everyone.
"Okay. I'm coming up here now..." Thomas called up to the girl and he climbed up the tower.
He disappeared up onto the top platform.
"What's going on?" someone whispered.
"I'm not sure..." someone else answered.
"Thomas, you good up there?" Frypan yelled.
Thomas looked over the edge.
"Yeah."
I tried looking up onto the platform, trying to catch a glimpse of Thomas and the girl. Then, Thomas leaned over the edge.
"Hey, listen, you guys just give us a second, okay?" Thomas yelled.
"All right. Come on." Newt said, beckoning the others to get a move on.
"Is this what all girls are like?" Frypan muttered.
I whipped my head and glared at me.
"Oh right. Well, that girl is crazy."
I just rolled my eyes.
