We heaved Alby's limp body up the wall. I turned to Thomas and smiled.

"Great." a sarcastic voice muttered.

We turned and saw Minho. Then I flinched as I heard a screech.

"Run!"

Thomas ducked under the vines, and I followed him. I closed my eyes. Minho had run off, and I figured he was done for.

I peeked through the vines and saw a half robotic, half fleshy, spider looking demonic  monstrosity.

It screeched and stopped in front of the vines. I held my breath.

It stood there for what felt like hours, then turned and crawled past.

"Come on. We need to find Minho." Thomas whispered, rolling out of our hiding place.

I nodded and slowly crawled out.

We slowly tiptoed through parts of the Maze. But then we heard the screech.

"Come on!" Thomas hissed, pulling me behind a wall.

"We gotta go." Thomas said, turning.

I was frozen with fear.

"Lets go!" Thomas grabbed my arm and dragged me.

I snapped back and rushed past him.

"We need to stay together!" Thomas yelled.

I froze and turned back to him. The creature must have heard him.

"RUN!"

We ran until we got to a dead end.

"Shit..." Thomas muttered.

I stood in front of him, watching for grievers.

"There's gotta be a way out from here..." I muttered.

I turned and saw goo dripping on Thomas's shirt. I looked above him and froze.

"Thomas... there's a griever above you..."I whispered with panic.

Thomas looked up and we bolted away. The griever screeched and galloped after us.

"AHHHH!" Thomas yelled.

I couldn't form a sound and just sprinted for my life.

I ran until I reached an edge. I didn't think, and just jumped. My hands grabbed onto some vines, and just hung there. I felt Thomas jump on next to me. But we weren't safe yet.

The griever jumped on top of us. I grabbed the vines tighter, my eyes squeezing shut. These were my last moments. I was about to die. I was a goner. Why had I ran into the Maze after Thomas? I didn't even get to say goodbye to Newt...

"Let go."

I snapped my head to Thomas.

"Bloody hell! Do you want to die?" I screamed.

Thomas shook his head.

"Do it."

I took a deep breath and let go. Thomas landed next to me, and nodded for me to follow him and we sprinted through the Maze.

"Minho?!" I cried as he peeked from the edge.

He smiled a sad smile. I noticed that he had Alby's arm wrapped around his shoulder.

We rushed over to him.

"Move! Go!" Thomas yelled.

The griever was gaining on us.

There was an opening, but the walls were slowly closing in.

Minho and Thomas rushed through with Alby, but I stopped. I had a plan.

The griever was coming closer. It opened it's mouth, and I ran. The walls were barley open and I rushed through. The griever squeezed in, and as I sprinted through, I heard it's screech. It was squished.

"What did you do?!" Minho yelled at me.

I turned back to the doors.

"I killed a griever. I killed a shucking griever." I panted.

Thomas just stared at me. Minho shook his head in disbelief, then nodded for us to follow him.

"Come on."

We walked around a corner, and I saw Newt and the others standing at the opening.

"Florie!" he cried.

I sprinted into his arms. I had never been so glad to see someone before.

Chuck smirked and Minho and Thomas hobbled in, Alby's arms draped around their shoulders.
