Sticky Notes

Nancy's POV

"Heeeeellllpppp meeeee" I kept banging on Jooe's bedroom door but she won't open.

Why I ended up in here? I'll tell you.

Just earlier

"Good boy" I patted Yoreum's head and walked to my bedroom, him following.

I took a bath after I packed some clothes, changed into a normal tee, pants and wore him his retractable leash. Oh, and I didn't forget to wear my parka of course. I'm not changing into my beach clothes yet, I still have to visit Jooe for something.

"Don't you have anything to keep you warm?" I searched on his bag and found some coats.

"Huh, Yeonwoo unnie forgot to tell me about these" I wore him his black puffer coat and kissed his head. Then, I saw a sticky note on his coat.

"A friend of you just knew"

A hint from Yeonwoo unnie?

I sticked the note on my planner and stood up, holding his leash.

"You're going with me, Yoreum" We went out and went to my car. I let him sit shotgun and he poked his head out the window.

The whole ride was silent but I would be entertained by Yoreum everytime I glnace at him. He'd stick his toungue out and he'd close his eyes, feeling the chilly air.

"We're here" I held on tight on his leash and pressed the doorbell, hoping Jooe's home.

"Coming!" The sound of the gate opening made me smile and feel nervous. I looked at Yoreum and at the gate again, to see Jooe grinning at him.

"He's soooo cute" She bent down nd rubbed his fur, he seems to be enjoying tho.

"Jooe, won't you let us in?"

"Not you but him"

"Oh shut up" We went inside into her living room and sat on the couch. I saw Jooe walking fast, to her bed room upstairs then to her garage, bringing a silver luggage.

"Where are you fucking going?" I asked her when she was about to go back upstairs. Oh, she was still on a bathroom robe, guess she just took a bath.

"Why did you curse?"

"I don't care, just answer" She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"I was invited by a close friend and said that she was invited by her best friend to a beach. Said she was allowed to invite someone she wants to, she chose me"

Weird.

"A private beach?" She raised her eyebrow at that and averted her eyes somewhere.

"Yeah?" She looked back at me and sat on the couch opposing me.

"Who invited you?"

"Ummm Hyebin unnie, why? Do you know her?" I nodded. She covered her mouth and and stared at me with wide eyes.

"Let's spill everything" We said at each other in unison.

Jooe told me about Hyebinie being our senior at high school and was her ultimate crush. I told her about the fact that I was working for Hyebinie's best friend which is Yeonwoo unnie. I also told her that I'm curious about Yeonwoo unnie who seems to be hiding her face from me because of a big reason or something. I asked her if she could help me figure out who Yeonwoo unnie is so I won't get to the point where I'd go crazy thinking who she is. Jooe felt uncomfortable at my confession and request, she kept looking everywhere and at her phone.
