8 months earlier... Evoni's POV: It was the last day of school and I was so happy because it's finally summer. I decided it was time for me to get a job so I won't be bored and have money in my pocket. I looked up places that were hiring and came across white waters. This would be a good little summer job that's actually fun so I instantly filled out an application. "Hey what you doing?", my bestfriend walked through the door throwing her book bag down. "Filling out an application for white waters." I said putting my phone down. "I need to be filling out one too. Panda Express is stressing me out." She said as she pulled out her homework. Me and bestfriend met in 8th grade, her name is Cathy. We lived together and everyone thought it was so cool to be living with your bestfriend. She's more like a big sister to me even though I'm the oldest. I was 18 and she was 16 but she was way more mature than me. I was just a big kid at heart and didn't take a lot of things serious. I moved out of my mom house as soon as I turned 18. We not close and we never got along. We fought almost everyday. She wasn't a very fit parent and that's another reason why I left. No warnings no nothing, I just packed my stuff and went on with my life. After finishing up my application I decided to take a nap.......

There was this graduation party tonight for the seniors that are finally done with school. I was a junior but I'm now a senior. I was cool with most of the seniors so I I decided to go with my friend lavae. Lavae was another close friend of mine. We instantly clicked because we were both gay. She texted me saying she was on the way so we can go to the mall and find us a noutfit. I heard the doorbell ring and I hopped up and grabbed my phone and went out the door. "AHHHH HEY BITCHHHH!!" We called each other sisters but we ended up falling off my junior year. After we didn't speak for so long she hit me up one day and we started back communicating and then she expressed that she had feelings for me. I wasn't surprised because everyone would tell me that it was obvious but I thought it was weird for the simple fact that we're "sisters". We've been talking for like a month now but we were keeping things on the low because we didn't want people judging us. "Well bitch it looks like ima have to get cute. Mysia going." We finally pulled up at the mall, we spent about 4 hours there looking for an outfit because everything was picked over. I found a black skirt with a slit on the side, a laced top with a leather jacket and some heels that had a fire design on it.

It all added up to 60$ dollars. I was cheap so I felt like that was too much. After we finished shopping we went out to eat then headed home.
That night... We pulled up to the house that was crowded with people. There was cars down the street on both ends. "I know all these people are not seniors." Siani said pointing to a girl who looked about 16. She had a cup in her hand and was wobbling all over the place. She looked like she couldn't hold her liquor and didn't need to be drinking or alone. We got out the car and walked towards the gate. I looked around instantly noticing faces from school. We walked into the room full of loud music and people dancing. It was cloudy because of the smoke so I could barely see anyone. I felt someone pull on my arm and I turned around, "heyyyy girl youuuu looking good tonight oh my goddd!!" The girl yelled as she slurred her words and spilled a little of what she had in her cup. I pulled out my phone and shined the light on her face trying to figure out who it was. Once I noticed I smiled and hugged her. "Hey bitchhh and thanks you looking good too!" I said back to her. "I'm going to get some more to drink you coming? You need some cmon." She grabbed my hand and walked me over to the bar area in the house. They had shots just sitting on the counter for anyone to take. She grabbed two and handed me one. I took the shot and gagged as it burned my throat. "Ew that shit nasty" I said taking another. I didn't want to get slap out drunk so two shots was enough to get me going. Lavae walked over to us with a blunt in her hand and someone holding her from behind. She was always finding someone to be boo'd up with. "You tryna hit this?" She asked handing me the blunt. I hit the blunt a couple of times then gave it back. I leaned over a little catching myself, realizing that I was drunk and high. "I know you fuckin lyin" I said to myself. Without thinking, I walked over to where mysia was and tapped her shoulder. She turned around and her face went into a sorry look. "You for real right now? Like you dead asssss playing with me right?" I said to her with my fingers all in her face and my words slurred. She tried to wrap her arms around me as she whispered in my ear to calm down. "NO YOU GOT ME FUCKED UP!" I yelled, becoming upset. I was trying to push her off me causing attention to us. "Cmon lets go outside and talk. Let's not do this in here " she said as she picked me up and carried me outside. She put me down and straightened my skirt out for me as I just stared at her with a hurt look on my face. She stopped and looked at me before she rubbed her hand down her face. "So who is she? How long? Why you ain't tell me you was fucking with someone else mysia I would've been cool with it" I said to her breaking the silence. She took a pause and looked at me then down at the ground. "She's my ex. We never officially cut things off from the last time we were together but...." she sighed and looked back then at me, "we working on things." She finished saying as she looked at me. My heart sunk to my stomach. I can't believe this bitch really just played with my feelings. How do you confess you have feelings for me then make me catch feelings for you and then lead me on. It doesn't make sense. I just stared at the ground lost in my thoughts. Trying to figure out the right thing to do. "Should I beat her ass?" I questioned myself. "Nah it's not worth it" I heard Lavae say. She knew what I was thinking. "You could've just left me alone." I said my last words to mysia and walked away leaving the party hurt.
