A week later... I pulled up to zaxbys after leaving the mall. "Thanks have a good day." I told the Uber driver. I was tired and ready to get in my bed and sleep but I loved making money. I've been saving up to get a new car since my last one was towed last week to a bad car accident. After I left mani's grandparents house I was texting Lavae what happened and right after my last message I pulled out the drive way and was hit by a car not paying attention. I had a couple of bruises and pain on my side but they healed pretty fast. My side still was sore though. "Hey Evoni how it's going?" The manger said to me as I walked to the back to put my stuff down. I told him I was good and that I was healing from my accident. It was my third day on the job and I was already making new friends here. I went back to the front grabbing a hair net putting it on and stasi walked by. I rolled my eyes at here forgetting that she worked here. "Dumb bitch." I mumbled as I walked to the office to grab my till. Stasi was a girl from school that didn't like me because of one of my exes. Basically they were talking and I came in the picture and she stopped talking to stasi because of me and we ended up dating. Things weren't so good in that relationship either. She turned out to be a hoe and stasi claimed that they were still talking while we was together. I don't know if it was true or not but I wouldn't put it past her. The beef was like 2 years old and I literally forgot about it and left it in the past. On my first day of work Stasi was supposed to train me but I heard that she didn't want to and that before I even came here she was telling everyone at the job about me and what happened between me and her but she flipped the story. That's where my issue with her came in again. I hate bitches that are delusional and lie to start drama. I should've beat her ass when I had the chance. I counted my till down to the right amount and went to the front to put it in the cash register. It was Wednesday so I figured it'll be slow. I went over to the area where the drive thru was to get some tea. I poured me a cup and stood in the corner sipping while listening to my coworkers gossip. "Oh look there's tyun.. good she can take the headset." the girl said taking off her head set handing it to the girl. It was the same girl I bumped into that one time with all the freckles, I'm guessing her name is Tyun. She took the head set and put it on. She look like she was mad or something. She had a straight face since she came in here. The head set started to beep and she rolled her eyes before taking the order. I giggled, I could tell she hated this job. "Is it really that bad?" I asked her putting my cup down. She looked at me and slightly smiled, "nah I just hate when they put me on head set." She said looking at me as she licked her lips. I looked down at her lips, they were so pink and juicy and she had a freckle on her top lip. "Damn" I thought to myself. I came out of my thoughts when I was told I had a customer at the front. I went back to work and took their order.
I sat on the couch in the living room waiting for Jamie (mani's mom) to come over. She told me she had a surprise for me. It was 7 am in the morning and I was wondering what surprise she had for me this early. I haven't seen or heard from Mani since our last incident. I was going to get a restraining order against her but I didn't feel like dealing with the drama or telling her mom what had happened so I changed my mind. My phone vibrated and I answered, "Hey I'm here. Come outside" she said hanging up before I could respond. I put on my slippers and went downstairs. When I saw what my surprise was my mouth dropped open. "Pleaseeee tell me you rented thisssss." I whined as I admired the white Jeep in front of me touching the door handle. "Nope it's all yours, you just have to pay for the car note but if you need help with that of course I got you." She said to me. I raned to her and gave her the tightest hug getting tears in my eyes. I told her about my accident and she offered to take me anywhere I needed to go or at least pay for my Uber rides. "THANK YOU SOOO MUCHHH!" I yelled letting her go jumping up like a little kid. She laughed, "You welcome daughter." I looked at her then back at the car and squealed. "Okay okay I haveeee to show Lavae. Can you please take my picture?" I asked her as I squatted down in front of the Jeep. I smiled real hard as she snapped my picture.

"Okay hun while I gotta get going. I have to work a double today you know them folks love working me to death." She said laughing. I gave her one last hug and told her I loved her before she left. I went back upstairs jumping up and down while texting Lavae. I opened the door and raned straight to the back excited to tell my bestfriend the news. "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD GUESS WHATT!" I yelled jumping on the bed waking her up. She took the covers off of her head and looked at me with a straight face. "JAMIE GOT ME A JEEP LOOOOK!" I pulled out my phone showing her the picture. She looked at it and bluntly said, "cool." Then layed back down. I looked at her with a confused look on my face, "what's your problem?" I asked getting off the bed standing above her. She smacked her teeth and said, "I'm just not in a mood." She put the covers over her head and turned her back towards me. I stood there for a minute staring at the covers. I felt myself becoming upset and I knew if I would've stayed any longer I was going to say something I shouldn't. I checked my phone and saw a text from Lavae: "OMG BITCH THIS SHIT IS NICE ASFFF!! BITCH COME OVER RN I HAVE TO SEE THIS IN PERSON!" I laughed and grabbed my things and left before taking one last look at who was my bestfriend but I'm not so sure anymore.
