Strictly Business

"Would you be my 'boyfriend'?" I offered Jack a handshake

He looked at my hand and to my eyes, and to my hand and to my eyes again
"So?", I said still waiting for his handshake, "Deal?"

"Your boyfriend, my ass", He hit away my hand
"Not in a billion year, Elsa", his face looks bitter
"Not even in your dream", he plopped himself in his bed
"I'm not a toy that you can play with, I have feelings too"

Wow, he seems serious and pissed off

"Hey", I walked toward his bed and sat at the edge of the bed
He still ignored me, I took a deep breathe
"I'm sorry", I stroked his shoulder making his eyes met my gaze
"Yeah, whatever, Els", he said not interested

"But...", I bit my lower lip
Now, I'm gonna officially be ashamed of myself

I kneeled down
"Please, please, please, please!", I practically begged him just like a slave begging for mercy
"I know, I'm stupid, just please be my date for this weekend! Please, please, please I beg you"

This is the most embarrassing thing I've ever done in my life

"Well, well, look at you kneeling and begging for me", he chuckled and judging me from the corner of his eyes

"Come on Jack! You're my only last hope. Please", I pleaded
"I know you're not into dating me, but we're just faking okay? Just please help me out. Just one time."

"Please, just one wish", I whispered hopelessly
There's a brief silent between us, until Jack took a deep breathe.

"Hey, Elsa", he finally talked like himself
I looked up and met his striking blue ocean eyes, he grins.

I know him for a long time and this kind of grin will make you regret that you talk to him or ask him for help.
But what can I do, I'm desperate here.

"Yeah, Jack?", I sound unsure because I don't know his next move
"What will I have in returned, if I'm willing to help you out?" Jack rubbed his chin

Oh fuck

"Wh-What? You dumbass, there's no way I'm gonna do a favor for you! Just help me out okay?", I protested
"Okay. Not helping you then" he replied and threw his back to his bed causing his grey hair bounced

"Oh, come on Jack! I know you're a good guy", I tried to praise him
"Not changing my mind", he said while closing his eyes and put his arms on his forehead

"Tell you what, it's a win-win solution. I granted your wish, and you give back one wish to me. Sounds fair right?", he spoke up still in the same position
"Come on, Elsie. I know you need me, and I'm being a good guy here", he persuaded me

"Or else I'm gonna change my mind in 3...2..."

Great now he's threatening me

"Okay, okay. You know that girl we met back then in the minimarket?" I finally gave up

"Which one? I'm kinda famous among girls here"
I rolled my eyes, "puh-lease, the brunette girl with short wavy bob hair and big violet eyes? Remember?"

"Oh, that pretty friend of yours, yeah?" his eyes anticipating my answer
"Exactly. Her name is Toothiana. You like her, right?"

"I'm listening" he straighten his glasses. He always does that
"I happened to be in the same circle of friend with her"
I'm sorry Tooth

"So Uhm... you know, I can introduce you to her" I shrugged, not really a fan of my idea
Tooth gonna be pissed, if she knew I literally sell her to this dickhead Jackson Frost

"I can set you up for a first date, I mean after we "broke up" ", I put a quote hand gesture
Why did I even come with this idea. God, give me strength.

He rubbed his forehead and jolt from his bed
"So? Deal?", I offer him a handshake again to seal the deal

He smirked and accept my handshake.
"Deal, Elsie" Jack said enthusiastically, like a little girl.

Looks like he's a fan of my idea

"Great! See you on Saturday, Disneyland, 10 am, in front of the south gate" I said in a strict business tone

"Whoa.. whoa... whoa hold up, ma'am" , Jack said as he let go of my hand
"What now, nerd?", I groaned

"Well, since you're "hiring" me to be your "boyfriend" ", Jack smirked
"There's gotta be somekind of 'working hour' right?", he asked trying to prove a point
"Yeah, whatever. Go on", I said nonchalantly

I have the sense that this is not a good idea

"I'll be your boyfriend until 01.00 pm, deal?"
There you go. That wily bastard!

"Fuck you, Jack. No! 5.00 pm."
"2 pm. I'm being good, here Elsie"
"Dickhead, 4 pm"
"3.30 pm. That's it. I have a life too Elsie, I can't spend my whole day pretending", he scoffed

"Do we have a deal, ma'am?" Jack offered a handshake
"Deal", I shook his hand roughly

He smirked, "Nice doing business with you, ma'am"
"Thank you for coming and trusting me as your partner, Elsie" he said in business tone but I knew he's low key mocking me

"If you're late, our deal is off", I made my self sounds threatening

I let myself out from his room through his window to my room and closed my window and my curtain

I hope he really came this Saturday
