Please Please Please

"Please pick up, please pick up, please pick up" I mumbled impatiently
Suddenly my phone vibrate, meaning the other line had answer my call

"Hello", I greet him
"Elsa?", the voice on the other line spoke up
"The one and only" I chuckled
"Hey, what's up?" the voice replied

"Hey, I really need your help", I said
"Wow straight to the point huh? No 'how are you, Tadashi?' "

"Alright, alright, how's it going, Hamada? We need to catch up sometimes"
"You bet we do, so what can I help you Elsie?"

"Stop calling me Elsie, you know I hate that", I warned him but then I realize
"But, since I need a favor from you, you can call me what you want" I correct myself

"Wow, are you that desperate?"
"No need to emphasize on how desperate I am", I sighed
He laughed

"Listen here, Tadashi" I stopped and take a deep breathe
"You're in San Fransokyo right now, am I right?"
"Yes, so?", he asked in curiosity

"You're coming back to our hometown, New Yosaka this weekend right? Visiting Hiro and your Aunt?"
"Okay, that's creepy. How did you know?"
"I asked Hiro, duh. Anyway..."

"Anyway...", he repeated what I said
"I really need your help this weekend" I said unsure
"I'm listening, what can I help?" he replied
I took a deep breathe, here goes nothing I thought
It's now or never

"Do you want to be my boyfriend?" I said trying to act cool but I bet my face is red like rotten tomato
Okay this is officially awkward.

I heard a loud thud from the other line, I hope Tadashi didn't fall from his chair
"Wha- What???" He said after the loud thud

"Do you want to be my boyfriend?" I repeat myself. Silence, no answer.
"It's only for the weekend, please?" I add my statement

"Whoa this is a lot, I gotta process. Aren't you going out with Andy last time?"
"Yeah... it doesn't went well. He's too childish, he went on our date bringing a cowboy doll and he name it Woody", I lied.

I didn't know who is this 'Andy' I'm making up.
Is the real Andy even exist?
I don't even know and I don't even care

"Anyway, please help me. Just be my fake boyfriend for a day, please? We just need to act like we're a lovey dovey couple. It's as easy as a pie!" I basically begged like a kid begging for a candy
"I'll treat you, anything you want! Please?"

Tadashi sighed and clear his throat
"Well the thing is Elsa...", He stopped
Please please please. I am at the edge of bursting out right now.

"The thing is I wanted to help you", his voice came out weak
"Is that a yes?" I replied right away, but he didn't reply
Something's wrong here

"Okay, you want to help me, but?" I asked him
"But..." he stopped once again and I heard him took a really deep breathe
"I'm afraid I can't help you.", he said sounding uncertain whether he disappoint me or not

"Well, you see... I'm kinda seeing someone right now", Tadashi tried to explain
I froze for a second.
Congratulations Elsa, you manage to embarrass yourself in front of other girl's boyfriend!

"Wo-Wow, I didn't know! Forget that I ever asked you becoming my fake boyfriend!", I laughed trying not to sound disappointed because he's my freaking last hope!
"Yeah, she's a great girl."
"Her name is Honey Clementine but we call her Honey Lemon, you'll like her!" Tadashi tried to convince me

"Yeah, I bet I do!", I sighed still trying not to look desperate or disappointed
"Well gotta go, gotta figure out what to do", I'm so ashamed of myself, "Bye"

"Bye Elsa, let's meet soon!" He replied
"Yeah, bye" I hung up

Oh for fuck sake!
I literally got rejected by a guy? Wow
And I'm not even asking him to be my real boyfriend!
I face palmed myself

I decided to open my window trying to get fresh air
What am I gonna do now?
