One word: wow.

I would've never guessed that this was my classroom. Fancy streamers, animal-shaped balloons, piles of stuffed animals...heck, there was a GARDEN ARCH for our entrance! Every single nook and cranny had pastel decorations. And is that...a, uh....body pillow?

"Surprised?" Misaki laughed at my gaping mouth. "I turned my budgeting sheets in early, so Feng gave us leftover money last night. Some friends and I stopped at the local anime shop." She pointed to the stack of teddy bears in front of the door. "Paris's fanclub also donated old toys, but we ran out space for 'em."

"No way."

"Yes way. Now hurry and change, Yamamoto!"

I ran to the restroom, slipped into my maid outfit, and came back. With every order I took, my feet ached more. But I told myself to sturdy up and presented my fifth Lovey Dovey Milk Tea on a silver platter. "Let me know if you need anything else, okay~?" I smiled, rushing back inside the kitchen.

Misaki looked up and down at my costume. "You sure you don't work at a restaurant? You're good at it!"

"When's my shift over?" I panted for air.

"In thirty minutes," she dusted my skirt and patted my head. "But you're free to help us out more, Yamamoto - Amano, you IDIOT! DON'T BURN THE OMELET!"

As I watched her take charge of the frying pan, all the noise outside stopped. What happened to the guests? I peeked through a hole in the curtains...yep. That explained everything.

Why, out of all times, did the Student Council have to visit? I could've been elsewhere, minding my own business, but here I was, in my maid uniform..!

"H-Himeko," a maid holding a walkie-talkie tapped my shoulder. "Paris specifically asked for you."

What.

"No way," Misaki shoved me out of the kitchen. "Yamamoto, go! This is our lucky shot for more customers!" She walked me to the entrance, where the Student Council stood. I hated Paris's smirk as much as my clammy hands.

"Welcome back, m-my lords, " I curtsied, trying not to make eye contact. "Right this way,"

From the corner of my eye, I caught Misaki pointing to a table with big windows. Upon approaching it, I gestured the Student Council to sit down. I gripped the menus tightly so I wouldn't drop them, and a fellow butler served my guests water. Before I could excuse myself, Paris stopped me. "Where are you going, maid? We're ordering right here, right now."

"Alright then," I took out my notebook and pen. "What would you like today?"

"Well, what do you suggest?"

This little brat.

"The...uh, Lovey Dovey Milk Tea?"

uh, Lovey Dovey Milk Tea?"
