School ends and I immediately bike over to the hospital. I lock up my bike and head inside.
"Hello, Anna." I greet the clerk with a small smile.
"Heya, Sawyer. I've got some news for you."
My heart skips a beat or two. "Good news or bad news?"
"Both, actually. I'll start you off with the good news. Faye is awake!"
I start to sprint away, but I hear her shout, "The doctor will tell you the rest!"
I get to her room look inside. She's not sitting up, but her eyes are open.
"-he visits you very day, that boy. He must love you dearly."
I smile, and open the door.
"Hey Faye," I say, smiling. "It's great to see you again."
