Loki trained with Cora for weeks. Each day her power grew stronger and she slowly began to harness it. After each session, he found himself less worried over her losing control, as he had in the past, and more worried for her safety.

Thor continued to go back and forth between their compound underground and S.H.I.E.L.D., reporting daily on the status of the spy organization. Director Fury had all of his men out looking for Cora, the agents crawling the city and beyond like ants. As the weeks passed, Cora grew more anxious, itching to get outside and to stretch her new powers. The fact that she couldn't felt like a boulder on her chest. Truth be told, she was afraid to go out into the world knowing they would be looking for her, but she knew someday, it would come to it. And that day, she knew she would be ready.

Loki watched as Cora transported herself from one end of the room to the center. After mastering teleporting small objects, she was quickly learning to move herself. He smiled as he leaned against the doorframe, seeing her determined expression. She was picking up fast on her lessons. He knew she was strong, but never to this extent. Loki almost allowed himself to worry again.

"Excellent." The god nodded as she landed directly in front of him with a grin.

"Can I learn something new now?"

"Something new?" Thor's voice echoed off the walls as he entered the room munching on a pop tart. "Didn't you just start teleporting yourself two days ago?"

"She's learning fast." Loki replied, watching as Cora beamed at his brother.

"I want to learn more."

"You're quite intelligent, little one." Thor chuckled. "Reminds me a lot of you as a child, Loki.

Loki fought back a smile as he turned to Cora. "I suppose working on something else won't hurt."

As Cora bit her lip in anticipation, Loki felt something stir inside him. Quickly brushing the feeling away, he gestured for her to follow him down the hall towards the kitchen. Cora followed behind him, immediately sitting down as he pulled a chair out for her.

"Since I still have my telepathy, we're going to work on your psychic connection. Once you're able to establish that on your end, I'll teach you know to transfer it to other people."

"What? Like I can read minds?"

"In a sense, yes." Loki responded. "You can also elicit a conversation as well. Similarly to what I was able to do with you when you were asleep."
