Tests

'No! No! Please no!' Tears run down my face. Jen puts the first test down and looks at the second then looks at the third.

"They must be defected."

"All three? Jen there is no denying it. I'm p-p-pregnant!" I start sobbing Jen wraps her arms around me.

(Josh's POV)

Liam and I are laughing in the living room and we get quiet and hear.

"I'm p-p-pregnant!" We stop and look at each other. We get up and I knock on the door.

"Is everything okay in there?"

"Oh gosh! They heard!"

"No they didn't! Josh go away!" I go to say something but Liam stops me putting his hand on my shoulder and shaking his head 'no'. We go back to the couch.

Twenty minutes later Jen and Kyla come out. It's obvious that Kyla has been crying she sits back on the couch in her spot but away from me.

"Hey." I say to her quietly and she looks at me. "You okay?" She starts tearing up again.

"No!" She starts crying and I go to comfort her but she stands and leaves the room. Jen rushes off after her.

"Why do I screw everything up?" I ask myself aloud.

"You don't but if what she said is true. Then she might be like this for a while. This is a shock to her and if it is her ex's." He doesn't finish, he doesn't have to.

"I know. But what do I do? I mean I like her and if those tests are correct if she is...."

"Don't you dare tell me that you wouldn't date her because she is pregnant! Don't you dare!"

"No no no. That doesn't matter. Well I mean it does but it wont affect the way I feel about her. I just don't want her to think that I'm dating her out of pity."

"Had you planned on dating her before?"

"Yea. We agreed on next week."

"Then if she wants keep the date."

"Okay. Good idea man. See this is why i talk to you. So continue to try to win her heart like I was going to before she knew."  Just then they girls come back in the room. I smile at Kyla as she stands in the middle of the room nervously.

"Guys. I'm pregnant." I think for a minute then something hits me.

"A-are you going to keep the baby?"

"I don't know. I might give it up for adoption, but i'm not sure."

"But your not going to have an abortion?" Liam asks catching on to my train of thought.

"Oh gosh no! No. I'm going to have it, I just don't know if I'm going to keep it." She looks at us. "Did you guys know?"

Liam looks at me. "We kinda over heard you in the bathroom Kyla."

She hangs her head. "You probably don't want anything to do with me now Josh."

"Why wouldn't I? I mean your smart, funny, not to mention drop dead gorgeous, and your personality is one you don't come across a lot. You are so kind to others when out of all the people in the world you have the right to be cruel, but your not." I say as I walk over to her and tilt her chin up gently forcing her to look at me. She searches my eyes for something, but apparently doesn't find it. She hugs me and I feel tears stain my shirt.

"Even though I'm pregnant with another man's child? And soon i'm going to be as big as a puffer fish?" I kiss the top of her head.

"I've always liked puffer fish." She giggles. "And as for the baby being someone else's I don't care. If you let me I will love that baby like it was my own family." Her arms tighten around me.
