"Wait you don't know who Ellen is?" Liam asks in disbelief.
"No" I say while shaking my head.
"Do you know who Miley Cyrus is?" He asks. I can't help but laugh.
"Yes. Yes I know who Miley Cyrus is."
"Okay so you're not completely hopeless." Liam says dramatically.
"Whatever happened to her? Did her show ever take off?" Liam looks at me wide eyed.
"Yeah but don't expect to see her like that again."
"What do you mean?" I ask as I hear someone who sounds like Miley start singing about a wrecking ball.
"That's what he means." Josh says pointing to the t.v. and I see a girl half naked on the t.v. licking a sledge hammer. Seeing her like that makes my stomach churn I get up and run to the bathroom and loose all the contents of my stomach. Josh comes in and rubs my back as I puke. This small gesture means everything to me. I finally stop and lean back into his chest. He gently rubs my stomach.
"Please tell me that they turned that off." I say to him.
"I'm sure they did. Miley wrote that after her and Liam broke up."
"They were dating?"
"No. They were engaged."
"Wow. So who is Liam's brother?" Josh laughs.
"His name is Chris. He's a quality guy. Gosh! He is so much fun to be around."
"I'd like to meet him some time." He nods.
"I'm sure you will. You feeling better?"
"Yeah." I get up and brush my teeth and gargle with mouth wash. Then we go back out to the living room. Josh sits down and I sit and lean on him.
"You cold?" I nod. Then he grabs the blanket off of the back of the couch and covers me with it. I smile and snuggle closer to him. "Hey Liam. See if Ellen is on."
"Okay." Liam flips through the channels and stops on a show with a lady with short blonde hair and at the bottom of the screen it says 'Ellen'. I watch as she talks and laughs.
"This is Ellen?" I ask Josh quietly.
"Yeah. She is fun to be around. She's sweet to." I giggle as she gives a guy some underwear that says Ellen.
"Please tell me that she won't do that to us."
"She might. You never know." Liam says. "She already gave some to Josh."
I laugh and look at Josh. "Really?"
"Yeah. I'm wearing them right now." I look at him like 'really?' He nods and pulls them out a bit so we can see and I start laughing uncontrollably. Before long everyone is laughing. The laughter continues when there is a knock at the door. Jen goes and gets it.
"Foods here!" Jen calls as she walks to the kitchen as the smell of Chinese take out fills the house. I crawl over the back of the couch causing the boys to laugh. "Hungry Kyla?" I smile and nod.
"Yup. I just threw up everything I ate 20 minutes ago. I think I could eat an entire buffet." I say grabbing my box of food.
"Just don't eat too much at one time." Josh says. "You don't want to get sick again."
I nod. "You're right. I'll eat slow."
We all go back to the living room and watch some TV. They all tell me about things I've missed. Jen tells me about a boy band that I was lucky to miss, Liam told me about some movies and Josh told me about random things. After a boy two hours of this they run out of things to tell me about so we watch some Doctor Who and I end up falling asleep on Josh again. What can I say? He's comfy.
(Josh's POV)
I know she fell asleep again but I don't care. I think she looks so cute when she sleeps. I look at my watch and see that it's 3 o'clock in the morning I know that I should go home. But I don't I lay down with Kyla's head on my chest and get comfortable. That was a mistake because shortly after I too fall asleep.
