"Did you really think that you could defeat me?!" asks Ausar as our blades push each other back.

"No. But that's exactly what Terrovax said. And I answered the same thing. You just jinxed yourself, like that smelly bastard." Our blades move back, and I block his. Then, I attack. However, Ausar dodges all my strikes, and then counters.

I dodge, then strike again, but miss. Our blades clang against each other, but I manage not to die; his sword slips by mine and flies towards me. I barely dodge. I slice horizontally, and nick his arm. He yells, and cuts downward, but I avoid the strike.

This time, I chop upward, but he blocks my blade and grins. Grunting with the effort, I try to push upward, but I'm in a bad position. I'm forced down, and Ausar raises his sword...

I try to crawl away, but he blocks me, and swings down. Is this it? Will I ever find his treasure? No. I can't! I grab my sword and push his blade up. Then, I get to my feet, and block his coming attack. I strike twice in rapid succession, quick enough to unbalance him.

However, before I can deliver a third blow, he seems to change. He blinks a few times, and then crumples to the floor. I wonder what that was about... I think. Then, the body comes back to life and I jump back, startled.

"..." The risen body just stands there, almost as if it were unaware of its surroundings. I watch carefully; I can never be sure if it will attack me or not. Still, I approach the body. I hear it muttering quietly, "Ausar... you idiot! I'm supposed be in control right now..."

I stop, and the person finally notices me. "Oh... Hi. Aren't you the guy who's looking for Ausar's treasure and all? Yeah... the thing is... he didn't have a treasure. At least not here or anywhere near here." My eyes widen. Seriously? No treasure? Nothing? So all of my journey was for nothing? Hell take me... I was completely fooled! I think shamefully.

"I'm Castrair. You know, the third personality of Ausar and Siris," he says as he extends his hand. I take it, still wary. However, he tells me, "If you're looking for a treasure, go to Ausar's old castle. When the war was won, I just left all the riches for others to find and take."

"... Thanks..."

"You're welcome."

---------------4 days later--------------

I arrive at Ausar's old castle at midday, and I search for the room that contains all his treasures. Along the way, I wonder if the people actually took it all, but I forget all that as I reach the room where Ausar's QIP would come when he died. It's filled with green tubes and has a large, metal dais on which a body could lie.

I enter, and the doors close suddenly. Oh no.
