Crouching low in the grass he took in the landscape. Yes he could understand Tatsu bringing Nina here. He knew they had been here, how long ago he couldn't be sure. When he had entered the abandoned hut he had smelled her, causing those questionable pangs in his heart he still couldn't explain. He sat upon the golden hill and grasped his bow tightly watching the sun set while his clan waited for him back at the ship.
Wahkan regretted the time it had taken for him to begin his chase after his treasure, but he had to align his council of elders and assume some of his duties. He finally gathered his former clan mates and set off on a hunt... the hunt to get Nina back. He spent so much time analyzing what had gone wrong. Sleepless nights haunted him, something he's never experienced. Never had he felt the things he was feeling since meeting Nina. He felt a deep sense of regret. He found himself regretting not taking care of her the way she had deserved. Starring at the huts down in the field he was lost in his thoughts and feelings. A hard thing to adjust too.
Taking in a deep breath Wahkan stood up taking one last look at the landscape before putting his arrow in its quiver he headed back down the hill to his ship.
