A little while after

Emilys POV

Well I've been working at Dunder Mifflin now for nearly 5 months and its been interesting to say the least. I've finally moved into my apartment. Mine and Jims relationship was improving and we were getting closer by having lunch together and pranking Dwight and my crush on him was really starting to grow.

I was talking to Erin over the reception desk and making plans to have a spa day soon, Erin has become my best friend at work and outside of work. Just as our conversation was dying down a red haired skinny girl walked in with a bunch of purses in a box.

" I'm looking for Michael Scott" she finally spoke and her annoying voice rang through my ears

"Oh um he's in his office" Erin gestured to Michaels office

"Thanks" and with that she walked off into his office

I saw all the guys look at her besides Dwight and I'd be lying if I didn't say I was jealous when I noticed Jim looking at her.

"yay Michael is going to let me sell my purses in the conference room" she let out an annoying screech.

She was shown the room like she was too dumb to look for it herself. Erin could tell I was jealous just from looking at the back of my head and she went to make me a coffee. She came over to me with the coffee in her hand.

"Here, you look like you need it" She softly and quietly spoke up

"Thanks Erin" I replied taking a sip of the warm milky coffee.

I continued working and giving the occasional glance over at the conference room and every time I did a different male from the office was in there trying to seduce her. First it was Michael, Second it was Andy and he certainly got further than Michael as Andy has some sort of weird charm, Third it was Kevin and he had no luck, Forth it was Ryan even though he's with Kelly he still flirted with everything that had a vagina. Finally it was Jim and I know he had luck, she was touching his arm constantly and laughing at his jokes. I was extremely jealous now and the clock on my computer read 12:30pm so I left the building in hope to clear my head and get some lunch. I knew some eyes were on me as I grabbed my coat and walked out of the building but that didn't bother me right now.

Jims POV

I only came in here to pick a purse out my my moms birthday and now this Katy girl has me tangled up in a conversation and when I make a joke to get me out of here she just grabs my arm and laughs preventing me from leaving this place. I see Emilys car drive out of the car park and I have no idea why she never usually leaves to get lunch, she always brings it with her. Maybe she forgot it today.

"jim? JIM?" my thoughts are interrupted by this girls annoying scratchy voice.

"hmm?" I finally replied

"I was wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner and drinks later" she suggested

"hmm yeah sure" I replied still not properly listening to what Kerry was saying

"omg great, meet you at 8pm at this new bar in town" she replied

I finally decided to listen and I guess I'm going on a date with her now. I don't really want to as I've got a tiny crush on Emily. Oh Jim why'd you agree to this

Emilys POV

I finally calmed down and found a cute sandwich place to grab lunch. I picked up a sandwich and muffin for Erin headed back into the office and I sat down at my desk and noticed that Jim was still talking that Kathy girl.

Jim finally came out of the conference room and sat down at his desk just staring at his screen and to break the silence Dwight scoffed

" Jim you wasted 2 hours talking to that sissy and whilst you were busy I made 3 sales in that time" Dwight spoke up

"okay Dwight okay" Jim said nonchalantly

I was smirking at my screen at what Dwight said as I'm glad he got annoyed too.

"Did you forget lunch today Em?" Jim asked me

"Oh um yeah " I replied.

"No you didn't your lunch is in the fridge... idiot" Dwight joined in

"Oh well um I just needed some air you know?" I replied

"Why would you need air? There's oxygen in here?" Dwight wasn't stopping"

"Oh urm well.." I was stumbling over my words now.

"Seems to me that you were jealous that Jim was talking to Katy so long that you got jealous and needed to get out of the office before you got enraged" Dwight stated. Now everyone in the office is looking at me.

"Dwight that's enough" Jim said with a stern voice.

"Um I'll be a minute" I said.

I quickly got up out of my chair and walked down the the back of the building. I could feel my chest tense up and I tried to control my breathing but nothing was working. So I was currently having a panic attack at work

"Hey Emily sit on the floor and put your back against the wall" Oscars voice sounded. "I know you're having a panic attack but I need you to control your breathing"

I did what he said, he sat next to me and when I calmed down he placed his arm around my shoulder and I put my head on his shoulder.

"I know you like him Emily" He softly spoke

I just nodded my head.

"He tried to follow you down here but I told him it was best if I came because I figured you wouldn't want him to see you like this right now"

"Thank you Oscar"

He smiled.  Me and Oscar stayed like this for a while. Oscar was a good friend to me and this brought us closer. I was glad to have a new friend in the work place.
