The awkward encounters

Dwight's interview
"Do I think that my fellow co worker being a model is hot? Yes, yes I do"

Andy's interview
"Did I fantasise about Emily last night? No answer" and he winked

Emily's POV

It's been a whole day since people found about what I used to do. I looked up from my computer screen and saw Andy, Dwight and Phylis looking at me and I just gave them all a soft smile. Phylis smiled back, Andy smirked, Dwight just started at me in shock. In my peripheral visions could see Michael looking at me through his blinds and I heard Kevin said "oh yeah" in a sexual way in my direction a few times and Oscar and Angela both told him to shut up. Jim gave me a sympathetic smile and Erin made me some cups of coffee. I thanked her and went back to work. Then Andy finally broke the silence
"Ugh this silence is killing me! Look Emily, we know you're a model. Why didn't you tell us?" Andy announced

"Well I didn't want to tell anyone as I didn't think people needed to know" I replied

"I think it's wonderful dear and you look fabulous" Phylis announced.

"Yeah you're smoking hot Emily!" Meredith shouted over to me.

"She really is" Jim said with a smile.

I smiled at their kind words.

"Okay so we established that she's a model, she didn't want us to know, yes it's attractive but can we stop talking about this and do actual work now. She didn't want to tell us which is fair enough" Dwight protested.

I gave him a thank you smile and he just got back to his work.

Jim had a devilish look in his eyes and he then texted me and it read "meet me in the break room" I didn't bother to reply I just went to the break room, I took my mug to make it less obvious that I was meeting Jim.

"Hey, why'd you ask to meet me here" I looked up from pouring my coffee and there was Jim,

"Well I wanted to make sure I can keep you all for myself" he replied as his hands made their way to my hips and he latched on to them. I was still holding me coffee as my cheeks turned a shade of pink and I chocked out the words.
"James Halpert! We are still at work and take me out for a date first before you try anything" and with that I winked at him and walked back to my desk.

Jim's interview
"Do I have a crush on her? Definitely. Does she know? I pretty sure she does"  Jim looked at his fellow coworker with loving eyes and he knew, he had finally loved on from Pam.

The Next Day

Emily's POV

What I said to Jim had been on my mind the whole night. Would he actually ask me out? Does he actually like me? Is he playing games? Is he just using me to get over Pam? I had no idea, but I knew I shouldn't worry. Jim is a good guy right?
I brushed all my thoughts away and got ready for another day of work. I left my place at 8 and stopped for coffee on the way, I also grabbed Erin a cup too as she's been a little on the stressed side.
I arrive at work and see Jim's car in the car park, I head up the elevator and push open the door to the office. I placed Erin's cup of coffee with a sticky note on it saying 'You're doing great'.
She walked in, saw the coffee and smiled sweetly. She knew it was from me. Then Jim looked at me and said
"I think you made her morning better" he smiled

"I'm glad" I smiled back.

It was only 11:40am I was getting stressed at this work. I didn't want to be selling paper right now. I just wanted a nice warm bath and a glass of wine. Jim caught wind of me being stressed out and he text me asking me to go out for lunch. I obviously said yes. Could this be a date? We were leaving the office 12:30pm and the clock read 11:45am.
I left my desk and went to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. Jim walked in soon after.

"Hey, want a coffee?" I asked Jim.

"Sure thanks" he replied smiling

I poured him a coffee and he took a sip of it and smiled back at me.

"So are you excited for our first date?" He smiled taking a sip of his coffee.

"Ahhh so it is a date then Halpert" I smirked. 

"Why of course it is M'lady" he replied.

We went back to our desks to finish off our work and we desperately waited for lunch.
12:30 pm finally came around and I looked at Jim as he asked

"You ready?"

I nodded, he grabbed me my coat from the coat rack.

"Yeah sure let me just log off my computer"

I logged off my computer, thanked him for grabbing my coat and picked up my purse and we headed out of the door towards the car park.

"Your car or mine" I spoke up

"Well I think it's only polite for the guy to drive his date to the destination"

I blushed when he said the word "date". We got into his car and he drove out of the car park.

"So where are we headed?" I pipped up

"It's a surprise darling" he smirked

I swear Jim has got me redder than a tomato. We finally arrived at a really nice looking Italian restaurant named Alfredos and Jim lead me in holding the door for me, when we got to our table he pulled out my chair for me and took my coat off.

"What's good here?" I question him

"Um the carbonara is really really good" he replied

"Great I'll have that" I replied with a smile

The waiter came over to take our orders and we both ordered the carbonara and waters as we are working today.

"So Miss International how's Scranton treating you?" He asked sparking up a conversation.

"Well the people are pretty nice and it's not too bad, still learning to love the quirks however, like Micheal and Dwight" I joked.

"Ahh now those are the quirks you never learn to love" he responded with a soft laugh.

The food came and we both enjoyed the meal and each other's company. It was nice getting to know each other better. Jim paid the bill to my demise and we strolled back to the car.

"Thank you Jim, this was lovely" I blurted out and placed a kiss on his cheek.

"You missed" he said tapping his lips.

I rolled my eyes, planted a kiss on his lips and proceeded to get into the car. We drove back to the office in a nice silence listening to whatever was on the radio.

Emily's Interview
"Was it the best date ever?" I looked over at Jim who was sitting at his desk on the phone. "Yes, yeah it was"
