Shatter ~Nalu Fanfic + BNHA Crossover~

Chapter 1

"Lucy!" Yelled Natsu enthusiastically, running towards Lucy. She was sitting at the bar with Levy and Mirajane.

"Hey Natsu, what's up?" She replied cheerfully, sliding off of the barstool she had been sitting on. 

"Do you have any money for food, I'm starving!" He cried, pouting and giving her hard-core puppy dog eyes. 

"Natsu! What happened to your money?" She huffed, frusterated. This was the third time this week he had come to her begging her for food after wasting his on something stupid and she was starting to get fed up. 

"Oh come on Luce, I'm starving. I lost all the money from our last job betting on fights!" He exclaimed mewled. 

"Natsu!" She exclaimed, stomping her foot angrily. 

"I thought for sure Gray would win! That no good Elsa impersonator blew it and lost me all my money!" He whined. Of course he would blame Gray, it was never Natsu's fault for betting all his money away on stupid fights. Lucy sighed, frustrated. This would be the last time she gave him any money. "You had better pay it back Flame brain!" She huffed handing him a wad of jewel. 

"Thanks Luce your the best!" He exclaimed flashing her a big toothy smile. She laughed and returned it. She could never stay mad at him for very long, he was like a lovable hyper-active three year old bouncing around like he was hyped up on sugar 24/7. 

"So, Luce wanna go on a mission? I can pay you back for the food," Natsu suggested, his mouth already full of food. 

"How are you paying me back if I have to come do the job with you?" Lucy scoffed.

"But it wouldn't be any fun without you!" He whined. 

"Alright fine I'll meet you at the train station," She said laughing. He stood up and called out for Happy. The winged blue feline was at his side within an instant. Happy was his best friend, Natsu had found him as a child and they'd been inseparable ever since. 

"Happy we're going on a mission!" Nastu announced. 

"Ai sir!" Happy exclaimed. The two went off together, chatting about what kind of food there'd be where they were going. Lucy turned back to Mira and Levy and let out a heavy sigh. 

"He's so full of energy," Lucy muttered, putting her forearms down on the counter.

"He sure is special!" Levy laughed. "He's like a tornado, thats for sure," Mira smiled slyly at Lucy.

"You know, you and Natsu would make a really cute couple," She purred. Her and Natsu? Lucy hadn't really thought about that. Natsu was her best friend and partner, she loved him but she wasn't sure if she loved him that way. Besides Mira was obsessed with shipping, she found joy in living vicariously through others and shipping her guild mates like a mad woman. Honestly Mira was the most beautiful member of the guild, if she couldn't find a man how could the rest of us find one?

"I don't really see Natsu that way," Lucy told her to her obvious disappointment. 

"You will soon," She squealed. Lucy turned towards the door. 

"I don't think so Mira," She concluded. "Bye Levy," She called before dashing towards the guild doors. She heard Levy and Mira call out there goodbyes before she burst through the doors of the guild and out into the sunlight. She sighed contently, feeling the arm sunshine on her face. there weren't many clouds in the sky that day and Lucy was always happy when the sun was out. She started jogging off towards her small apartment. She had to gather all her things before she met Natsu at the train station. She ran happily through the streets of Magnolia, passing flower shops overflowing colourful plants and flowers, and bakeries each smelling better than the last. She reached her apartment and ran up the stairs and into it. Her bedroom was a mess. 

Clothes were littered all  over the floor and crumpled up pieces of paper that had missed the trash can lay on the floor beside her desk. Multiple coffee cups were piled on her desk beside her notebook and her pens were sprawled out messing on her bed. Her laptop lay on her dissolved bed, partially covered in her soft pink comforter. She had been up for hours the night before, writing and brainstorming. Trying to break through her writer's block. So far nothing had worked, she was stuck in a ditch, unable to come up with any good ideas. She stepped over the piles of clothes an made her way to her dresser. She quickly changed into a crimson coloured crop top and a pair of black jean shorts. She fasted her keys and her whip onto her belt and threw her long golden-blonde hair up into a ponytail. She grabbed her remaining jewel and stuffed it in her pocket before navigating her way back through the clothes and to the front door.  She locked the door behind her and took off running again towards the Magnolia train station. 

She reached the train station and spotted Natsu and Happy over by the door the the second train car. Natsu had his backpack on and Happy had his wings out and was hovering beside him. "Hey guys!" She exclaimed, running over to them. 

"Hey Lucy!" Natsu exclaimed grinning. 

"Did you get train tickets?" She asked breathlessly. 

"Yup," He exclaimed, handing her a ticket. The speakers in the station came on warning all the passengers that the train was leaving now. Natsu garbled Lucy's hand and pulled her over to a couple seats that he and happy had already picked out. Lucy sat beside Natsu and Happy sat across from the two of them. The train blew its whistle and started to move. 

"Ugh, I'm gonna throw up," Natsu gargled, as his motion sickness set it. Lucy pulled his head into her lap. 

"There there, it's gonna be okay," She assured him. He groaned and let out a deep breath . Lucy blushed as she moved her hand through his wild pink locks, as she usually did while he was incapacitated. Maybe I could like him like that she thought, remembering what Mira had said. Just maybe.
