Shatter ~Nalu Fanfic + BNHA Crossover~

Chapter 2

Lucy and Natsu had met up with the client who had posted the job flyer. The client had explained to them that just north of his small village lay a huge bandit camp full of dark wizards. These evil wizards had been terrorizing the towns people and ransacking the village. Lucy and Natsu had travelled on foot for a few miles to get to the camp. 

"So, what's the plan?" Lucy whispered. The two were crouched behind a bush, watching the campsite. Happy was crouched beside Natsu watching the camp intently. The camp was bustling with people, moving from tent to tent. Boxes and crates were piled up high around the bigger tents. 

"Plan T!" Natsu exclaimed. Punching his  fist into the air. 

"What's that?" Lucy asked, cocking her head to the side. 

"TAKE EM BY STORM!" Natsu yelled charging into the camp. 

"Natsu! What happened to the element of surprise?" Lucy groaned following him into the camp. 

"Fire Dragon Roar!" He screamed letting loose a torrent of red-hot flames, turning his head as he blew. A few of the dark wizards had been lucky enough to avoid the attack and were now advancing on us with rage. 

"Open Gate of the golden bull Taurus!" Lucy yelled, raising her golden key to the sky. Taurus appeared in a puff of smoke. 

"Why hello Miss Lucy!" Taurus purred. "Star dress! Taurus form!" She yelled. Lucy glowed briefly and emerged wearing a cow print bra and bottoms that were shorts on one side and long pants on the other. She wore dusty brown leather cow girl boots and a cow bell around her neck. Her long golden blond hair was piled into two twin buns on top of her head with a few pieces hanging down, framing her face. She pulled out her whip and turned to Taurus. "Let's do this Taurus!" Lucy yelled. She pulled out her whip and with Taurus's help she went to work. 

"Fire dragon iron fist!" Natsu shouted, slamming his fist into another wizards stomach. The man went flying backwards and slammed into a pile of of crates and boxes. "Fire dragon talon!" He yelled cutting down another few wizards. 

"Earth quake!" Lucy shouted lashing her whip at the ground. The ground rumbled and surged sending another group of unlucky wizards flying. Taurus swung his axe, demolishing a row of tents. "Let's finish this Natsu!" Lucy yelled. 

"You got it Luce!" He yelled back, grinning like a madman. He slammed his fists together and they ignited with flames. "Dragon Slayer secret art! Flame lotus exploding flame blade!" He screamed. Flames irrupted from him, shooting out like red-hot jets, completely obliterating anyone in their path. When the smoke cleared, the entire camp had been destroyed, leaving only Lucy, Happy and Taurus untouched. Lucy ran over to Natsu and threw her arms around him in a hug. 

"We did it!" She exclaimed happily. Natsu hugged her back, a slight pink blush dusted his cheeks. 

"Yeah, you were great Luce," He told her smiling. She looked up at him and they locked eyes for a moment before looking away, both of them blushing ever so slightly. 

"He loves you!" Happy cooed, ruining the moment. Lucy glared angrily at him. 

"Shut up you stupid blue cat!" She yelled, stomping her foot in frustration. Happy gleefully flew up and out of range of Lucy's flailing fists. 

"Come on Luce, we should go collect our reward," Natsu suggested. 

"Yeah I guess," She agreed, cooling down. 

They walked the long path back to the town and met up with the mayor of the city to collect their jewel. 

"Thank you so much kind wizards for freeing our fair town!" The mayor exclaimed, shaking both their hands firmly. "We are over the moon! You absolutely must stay for the festival this evening. The townspeople are putting it together to honour you brave wizards for saving our town," He explained excitedly. "We've even named it the fairy festival," 

"I don't know-" Lucy started. 

"We would love to stay!" Natsu exclaimed, cutting her off. Lucy looked at him with an irritated look on her face. 

"Natsu!" She huffed. 

"Luce come on! Their doing it just for us!" He whined giving her his best puppy dog eyes. 

"I'm weak!" She exclaimed. "Fine we can stay, but only for one night!" She told him. 

"Yes! Luce you are the best!" He exclaimed. "I can't wait to taste all the food!" Natsu drooled, imagining the feast that would be at the festival. The mayor provided a hotel room for the two of them to stay in for the duration of the festival. Lucy immediately crashed onto the bed and sighed, burying her face into the plush, comfortable pillows. Natsu went into the shower and happy raided the mini-fridge for fish. Finally the festival rolled around and Lucy had to drag herself out of bed to get ready for it. She put on a short white dress with a tight waistline and a ruffled flowy bottom. The sleeves were long and puffy, and they showed off her shoulders. She wore a matching white choker, and a dab of peach lip gloss and mascara. Her long long hair was beautifully curled and flowed down her back in perfect golden waves. She waltzed out of the bathroom and stood by the door waiting for Natsu. 

"Natsu come on! We're going to be late for the festival," She whined impatiently. 

"I'm coming," He replied. Natsu ran to the door, followed by Happy who was wearing a small black bowtie. Natsu was dressed in a simple white collared shirt with the first few buttons undone. He had black dress pants and black boots. The only thing left was his scaley scarf, which he had decided to leave off. 

"Wow Luce you look amazing," He stuttered, his face turning as red as an apple. 

"You too," She mumbled, her face equally as red as his. He held his hand out with a goofy grin on his face. She giggled and took his hand. 

"Let's go!"
