Shatter ~Nalu Fanfic + BNHA Crossover~

Chapter 16

~Hey everyone, welcome to the final chapter of Shatter! This has been a 5 month project and it's been very fun for me to write. After this I have a few fanfics planned, including a kamijirou (Kaminari X Jirou from my her academia) fanfic and a detective fanfic that I don't quite have al the details for yet. "Ugh," Natsu groaned and rolled over, throwing up into the dirt beside him. 

"Natsu! Are you okay?!" A high pitched voice exclaimed. Natsu looked up to see Wendy sitting beside him, healing him. 

"Hey Wendy, I'm good," Natsu coughed up a bit of blood. 

"Oh my gosh!" She shrieked, putting more power into healing. Natsu groaned and rolled over onto his back. 

"Natsu!" He turned his head to see Yukino running over, Sting and Rogue close behind. "I sensed Lucy," She told him. He struggled to sit up. 

"Natsu, careful!" Wendy exclaimed, putting a hand on his chest. 

"Where is she?" Natsu slurred. 

"Maybe we should wait until you're healing Natsu," Yukino suggested lightly. Natsu pushed Wendy's hand away gently and struggled to his feet, gripping his stomach. 

"No, take me to her," Natsu insisted. Yukino closed her eyes and thought for a moment before nodding in agreement. Sting walked over and pulled Natsu's arm over his shoulder, steadying him. He nodded to Yukino and she began to lead them out of the battle field and back into the school. They walked up the stairs, Natsu struggling all the way up. The group walked down a hallway and made it to the portal room. 

"So, where is Lucy?" Natsu asked, when they got into the room. 

"There," Yukino pointed to the portal. 

"I don't see her," Natsu mumbled, confused. Yukino sighed. 

"She's in limbo within the portal. Her celestial magic is supporting the whole thing, without a celestial wizard in it there's no well of magic for it to draw from. Without that magic constantly supporting it the portal will become unstable, and start things from both sides into limbo and eventually will destroy both worlds," She explained. 

"How did you know that?" Rogue asked. 

"I've studied all spells related to celestial magic, even the ones that Zeref created. The magic council was in the process of sending all the books that used to be owned by Phantom lord on celestial magic. Unfortunately Jose must have taken the one that explained how to actually perform the spell with him when he ran from the guild. The ones that did get sent to us explained the ramifications of using these spells. They may be strong but as with most spells created by Zeref, they shouldn't be used," She explained. 

"So, how do we get her out?" Natsu asked, completely confused by the entire situation. 

"Someone has to take her place," Yukino told him. 

"I'll do it," Natsu spoke up immediately. 

"You can't," Yukino shook her head. "Only a celestial wizards can enter the portal," She explained. She looked over at the portal. 

"Yukino no," Sting said, putting his hand on her shoulder. "You can't, I need you here," He told her. 

"Sting this is important, Lucy's is my friend and Natsu is devastated without her!" She exclaimed. 

"I'll be devastated without you!" Sting whined, putting his hand on her waist. 

"Sting, this is important. Besides I know you'll find a way to get me out," She kissed him on the cheek. 

"We can find a way to save Lucy, your the one who's read all those books, you know more about the subject," He argued. She pulled all her celestial keys out of her back pocket and handed them to Sting. 

"You'll need all 12 Zodiac keys to help the portal. Lucy has to come out, she has all the other keys," Yukino told him. 

"Yuki you can't do this I- I can't figure this out without you!" Sting exclaimed. Yukino put her hand on Sting's cheek and kissed him. She pulled away slowly and put her forehead to his. 

"You'll see me again soon, okay?" Yukino smiled at him before walking up to the portal. She reached out and touched the portal. She glowed for a moment before disappearing. When the light faded a tired looking Lucy stood in her place. 

"LUCE!" Natsu yelled, stumbled forward. He wrapped his arms around her and the two of them fell to the ground, both too weak to stand anymore. 

"Natsu!" Lucy cried, hugging him. She pressed her lips to his and opened her mouth allowing his tongue to slide in. Salty tears spilled from both of their eyes into their mouths. 

"Are you okay?" Natsu asked pulling away and studying her face. 

"I'm okay, but what about you? What happened to your eye, can you see?" She asked. 

"It's not important," Natsu reassured her. 

"Natsu, you're bleeding onto me, you're not okay. Where's Wendy?" Lucy asked. 

"She's on her way Luce," Natsu mumbled, kissing her cheek. "I missed you so much," 

"I missed you too, everything was so disorienting in there," Lucy explained, putting a hand to her head. "How did I get out anyway?"

"Yukino took your place," Natsu told her. 

"What?!" She exclaimed. "No, I have to save her, she can't do this. I'm not worth it!" 

"Luce stop," Natsu, tried to calm her down. "She had to, we needed your keys to solve the whole portal problem," He told her

"We have to get her out, come on!" Lucy exclaimed, struggling to sit up. 

"We will but not right now, you're tired, I'm injured. We need more time to heal and figure out a plan," Natsu told her. 

"Yeah, I guess," She slumped back down onto his chest. 

"We will get her out though," Natsu told her. "Promise," 

~That's it guys! A book two is in the future but not for a while. I need a small break, spending all my waking moments planning and writing this fic has been a bit draining, but keep a lookout for new fanfics soon!~
