Chapter 13

"Ugh," Nastu groaned, trying to open his eyes. Bright rays of sun shone down on him tinting his vision a bright happy gold. He looked around trying to figure out where he was. He felt a warm hand grasp his arm and looked over to see Todoroki, dead asleep. 

"We must have fallen asleep training," He thought aloud. He shook Todoroki lightly. "Hey Todo, wake up," He encouraged. Todoroki opened his eyes and yawned, stretching his arms out. 

"What happened?" He mumbled, still half asleep. 

"We fell asleep training," Natsu explained. "We'd better go inside, the others are probably looking for us," He stood up then extended an arm down to Todoroki. He accepted and Natsu pulled him up. The two boys walked into the guild hall and went upstairs where era was waiting rather impatiently. 

"Where have you two been?!" She exclaimed, smacking them both in the head. 

"Just outside, neither of us could sleep last night," Todoroki explained to her. Her expression softened. 

"Next time leave a note or something," She mumbled, walking towards the stairs. "Sting and the others are outside in the carriage waiting," She told the two. 

"Not a carriage!" Natsu gurgled, following them down the stairs. 

"You'll be okay Natsu, it's only a short ride form here to the portal," She said, waving away his concerns. They made it out to the carriage and sat down inside. The ride was short, as promised and Natsu only threw up once out of a window. They pulled up in front of the tavern where Master Makarov  was already waiting. 

"Greetings my children, I see you brought Yukino," He greeted them. 

"We're here too old man!" Sting huffed. The master only laughed. 

"Of course Sting, you and Rogue are important too," He agreed. "Now is everyone ready to go?" He asked. The group members all nodded and followed him into the tavern. 

"Alright Yukino, take a look at it," Natsu prompted. She walked over to the glowing portal and stretched her hand out to it. Her hand glowed briefly. She brought it forward and pushed it through the portal with no problem. 

"It's open," She told them grimly. 

"Alright let's go!" Natsu ran forward and jumped through the portal, Todoroki close behind. They emerged into a familiar classroom. 

"It worked," Todoroki whispered. "We're back," The other wizards crossed over and soon, everyone was through the portal. 

"Alright, let's move," Master Makarov instructed. The group followed Todoroki out of the classroom and into the hallway, only to find a gaping crater. 

"What the heck happened?" Natsu exclaimed. Fighting raged across the entire crater, heroes on one side against the combined villains from the two worlds. 

"IZUKU!" Todoroki yelled, spotted the green haired boy. He sprinted forward, running towards his boyfriend. 

"Shoto?" Izuku yelped in surprise. Todoroki threw his arms around him. He hugged him tightly, holding on as if he might disappear. 

"I'm so glad you're okay," Shoto sniffled, starting to cry. He kissed Izuku, their lips moving together rhythmically. They pulled apart, panting. 

"Where's Lucy?" Natsu exclaimed, running up to them. The rest of the group ran over. 

"She- Jose put her-" Izuku stuttered. 

"What is it?" Natsu exclaimed. 

"Jose put her in the portal," He said quietly. Natsu's breathing hitched.
