When I got home, my servant, Ella, told me that I needed to see my parents in the throne room so I went in to see my parents in deep discussion.
"Ahem, " I said trying to get their attention.
They looked at me and their frustrated faces became scared and worried.
"You guys wanted to see me?"I asked.
"Umm yes, Annabeth, " my dad started.
"About?"I asked.
"Well...There comes a time in a girl's life where she...umm...your mother has something to tell you, "he said looking at my mom.
My mom rolled her eyes.
"Well, Annabeth, what your father was trying to say was that you are getting married to the prince of Atlantis, "my mom said.
That hit me hard.
"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?!?!??!??!?!?!?!?!?" I screamed.
"Annabeth, honestly it's not the end of the world, "my mom said.
"But I'm only 17, " I said.
"You're going to turn 18 in a few months so no big deal, " my mom said.
Tears begin to form in my eyes as I ran to my room.
When I reached my room, I slammed the door shut and I jumped into my bed still sobbing.
"Annabeth?" a voice asked.
I slowly got up and tried to look for the owner of the voice.
It was Luke.
"Luke...I'm getting married, " I told him.
He looked at me.
"Run away with me."
