Chapter 15

Ashley's POV

He has a girlfriend???

God.

"Hey, I'll... umm be right back." I mumble as I gather up my things.

"Do you want us to come with?" Laura with the blonde hair says.

"No, I think I'll be okay thanks." I smile sweetly.

I walk down to the other lunch hall and see 'Mitch's group' sitting on the back table.

I calmly walk towards the table and everyone's eyes at that table turn to me.

"Hey, Mitch? Friday's off." I say sternly then turn around whipping my hair.

I can hear him shout my name, but I don't even care anymore. A single tear begins to fill up my eye, but I refuse to let him make me cry.

I return to my friends and they are just standing up to leave. Great. Now Mitch won't know where I am.

We walk outside and head out to the shops.

"Ashley, you know the girl we talked about in science. Is that really you?" Isla asks.

I sighed "Yeah, I wish it wasn't though." I say and put my hands in my pockets.

"ICE-CREAM!!!" The Laura's yell and run down the hill to the ice-cream truck.

I roll my eyes an Louise, Isla and Kirsty laugh.

"You wanna go to the club?" Kirsty suggest.

"What?" I reply looking confused

"Oh yeah! That's right I forgot it was opening agagin this week!" Louise says as Isla explains what the club is.

"Well it's a club, obviously, with T.V's, Computers, Live performances, pool, foosball, ping pong and a whole bunch of other stuff.

"Do you have to be famous to perform or nawh?" I ask.

"Na. Anyone can. I performed a song last week." Louise replied

"Yeah I can ask if you want to perform, my dad's friend is the owner." Kirsty offers.

"Thanks, yeah that would be great." I reply smiling at her. Revealing my left dimple.

"You have a dimple?" Laura with the curly hair came up with an ice-cream and poked my cheek.

"Yeah I do." I giggle and poke her side.

"You want a bit?" She asks offering me the spoon.

"If you're offering?" I giggle along with her.

"I take a spoonful of her ice-cream and the other two Laura's come up.

"So, the club guys?" Kirsty says as we all eat share the ice-cream.

A boy starts to walk up the hill as we reach the bottom. He was just too.... 😻

He had dark brown hair, ruffled up, leaning more to the right. He had dark brown eyes, I looked at us all. We were all staring at him.

I giggled. So did Laura with the curly hair. I nudged her and pointed to Isla.

She had her mouth open ice-cream fallen off her spoon.

I poked Laura and showed her Isla again.

"Isla, close your mouth, you'll catch flies darling." We all burst out laughing.

The cute boy looks over at us and stared walking over.

"Hey Laura's, Louise, Isla, Kirsty,girl I need to get to know." He said winking at me.

"James?" I mumble to myself.

"You know him?" Laura asks.

"Oh, no. I was talking about him." I pointed to Jack sitting on a bench strumming on his guitar.

"Be right back." I say and run off.

I hear two pairs of footsteps behind me. I run down to the bench Jack is on.

"Nice guitar." I say and James looks up

"Oh, hey." He says putting his guitar to the side and standing up and nodding t my friends.

"Nice to see you." I say pulling him in for a hug.

"Always a pleasure seeing you." He says and takes my hands and stretches out his arms, as do I.

He pulls us closer and kisses my cheek.

"Do you wanna come to a club my friends invited me to?" I ask and pull away.

"Cost?" He asks

"No it's free" Isla replies

"Sure then." He replies kissing me once again and taking my hand to walk.

We start to walk up the hill and see the cute guy from earlier with his arm around Laura with the dark brown hair's waist.

We walk to the club and stroll in, Kirsty and Isla walk away.

We walk to the only spare table. There are six seats.

The three Laura's take three, Louise takes another and the guys take the other two.

I just kinda stand there awkwardly. Then James pulled me onto his lap.

"Better?" He asks smirking.

"Much." I reply giggling.

"You wanna be my girlfriend?" James whispers in my ear.

I nod my head and lie back into him.

Guess who's three tables away??
