Chapter 26: The friendship.

Halo there Writerz! Wait hold the phone, do my eyes decieve me, or have we reached our 3k goal already?! It was only a couple chapters ago that I set that goal. Anyway! The new goal is 5k and I want to do something great for you guys, to thank you. So leave a comment and suggest something you would like from me, I will try to do everyone's actually (only if it's not weird or stalkerish) I only actually recieved three OC's and I was hoping for a few more, I have only chosen one that I thought was particularly interesting actually. I have changed the name, but description will still be the same! Okay here's the chapter guys Ilysm. xx

Ashley's POV

Isla looks confused as I tell her Jared can't come. I giggle at the puzzled expression that plasters her face. I turn around to see Carter stepping out his front door, his house was the furthest away from mine. His red hair is perfectly shapen into his trademark quiff and his gentle smile warms my heart. He drops his penny on the ground and skates down to me. His big hazel eyes meet mine as he steps off his penny to hug me.

"Long time, no see." he chuckles kissing my cheek.

"Yeah, I wish you got accepted into Raddison High though." I whine and he holds my hand.

"Same, I put my application in for next term as well and I'm through to the second stage so." He says and crosses his fingers.

"Yeah, and this is Isla." I say and point behind me to the girl standing there awkwardly.

"You guys go chat." I say pushing Carter over to her. I look up to see Leah running over to me, her ombréd hair covering her perfect face. As her hair moves about all I can see is her with a big smile plastered on her face.

She does a round-off as she gets to my lawn and lands right in front of me. I giggle and pull her into a hug. She holds me tight and we pull away and she pokes my side.

"Who's the boyfriend?" She giggles.

"No one." I simply reply

"How many so far?" She raises an eyebrow.

I glance around desperatly looking for an excuse. "MEGAN!" I yell and run over to her. She hugs me and spins me round before I jump on her back.

"So what's new?" I ask resting my chin on her head.

"I'm moving schools." She says

"To where?" I sigh

"RADDISON HIGH!" She squeals.

I jump off her back and stand in front of her. "Hold the fucking phone. My school?" I ask barely mascing my excitement.

"Yup! I got in for music!" She says and hugs me again.

" And remember that time we climbed up that tree," Alfie begins laughing and pointing up at the tree above us. " then you were too scared to jump down so Drew had to climb up there, but you still wouldn't get down. His leg got stuck in the tree and you and him both fell, his pants pulled off his legs!" Alfie laughs.

"Yeah! And that's why the famous Drew Bennett always wears a belt since then, my friends." Noah says in a really deeo voice like one of those storytellers.

"Speaking of Drew where is he?" Leah asks and I liftmy head up off the grass to look at everyone the putting it back down

"I honestly have no clu-" Kian's cut off by someone else.

"Talking about me, now are you?" Drew laughs and I turn my head to see him leaning against a tree.

I lift my head up again and he freezes. "A-Ashley?" He stutters his eyes wide.

I stand up and quietly mumble "Drew." I missed him so god damn much. I missed his green eyes, his perfectly styled light brown hair, his big smile, his everthing. I run over to him and launch myself into his arms.

"I missed you so fucking much." Drew whispers into my hair.

"Me too." I say and bury my head into his chest taking in hsi scent. He smelled like colonge and mint.

I lift my head up and he connects our lips. I wrap my arms around his neck while he wraps his around my waist pulling us closer. I lick his bottom lip and I can feel him smirk, he opens his mouth and our tongues meet in the middle. Our mouths move in sync as everyone watches us. No one's saying anything, normally they tell us to get lost or come and push us.

I put my hands into his front pockets as he puts his hands into my back pockets. We break apart and I stare into his eyes, cloudy.

"Have you been drinking again?" I step away from him.

"Ummm." He says uncomfortably.

"Drew, you have to stop it's not good for you!" I scold him.

"Calm down, it was only one drink!" He defends, but I know better. I raise an eyebrow and he throws his hands up in defense. "Or twelve, okay!?" He says and I pull him into a hug again. "Never drink again." I whisper into his chest.

"Come on guys! Let's play spin the bottle!" Megan yells and I pull Drew/s hand into the circle.
