Alexandra
The days following their field trip to Stark Industries compound were quite hectic. Reports flooded their schools, wanting to get the chance to speak to one of the students who had been there at the time of the attack. Specifically Alexandra, considering the entire city seemed to know she had not only been there, but she had been in the office of Tony Stark at the time.
Not to mention the whole 'oh wow, you were with Tony Stark when it was attacked and you were kidnapped by Doc Ock this year? Tell us all about that!'
Ned was also being hounded, much to Peter's displeasure.
Getting into the school didn't even end the trouble. Everyone seemed to have questions for the kids who went on the field trip. Who was behind the attack? Was it scary? How much fire was there? Did Iron Man show up? Did they get to talk to Spider-Man?
It was all getting kind of overwhelming and, according to MJ, annoying as hell. "Can't they just watch the news?" She grumbled at lunch. "They have a lot of the answers to the stupid questions they're asking."
Alexandra shrugged and pushed a strand of her hair that had fallen out of the braid behind her ear. She had been getting quite a lot of attention herself, considering practically everyone knew that she had been with Tony Stark when the attack had taken place. Most kids wanted to know why she had been in his office, and if the Iron Man armor was really as cool up close as people claimed it was.
Peter had kept his mouth shut the entire time. Alexandra understood why. People were also asking questions about Spider-Man—Ned had been happy to tell the heroic and daring tale of the web slinger.
Flash was especially giving Peter a hard time about it. He still didn't believe it when Peter told him that he and Tony had been in the same room. But, now that everyone knew that Alexandra had been in the same room with not only Tony, but also with Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan, he was much more interested in being her friend. It was weird and Alexandra did her best to avoid him.
However, lunchtime was the perfect time for Flash to try and talk to her, so when he came up to their table and sat right next to MJ and across from Alexandra. "Hey, Alex, what's up?" He asked.
Alexandra glanced up from her lunch and over at Flash. She didn't want to be mean, but at the same time, she really didn't like Flash. "Hi?" She replied.
"Me and a couple of friends are hanging out after school on Friday, I was wondering if you wanted to come?" He asked her.
Alexandra and MJ exchanged a confused look. Flash never asked if any of them wanted to hang out. He hated everyone in their group—or they thought he did, anyway. But Alexandra knew why he really wanted her to hang out with him and his friends—he knew she had been in the same room as Tony Stark when he suited up as Iron Man.
"Uh... I've got plans Friday, actually," She replied.
Flash visibly deflated and Alexandra was actually pretty proud of that. He quickly regained his composure in an attempt to look like he wasn't disappointed. "Alright, that's cool, maybe some other time then," He replied. He took one quick glance around at their table and huffed before heading back to his own table.
"Who does he think he is anyway?" Peter suddenly asked. "The only reason he even wanted to hang out with you is because he knows you've been in the same room as Mr. Stark."
Alexandra nodded and took a bite of her sandwich. "Yeah, I know," She said. "But trust me when I say I would rather eat May's cooking than spend any time outside of school with Flash."
"Mood." Kai nodded.

Later in the day, Alexandra was in History with Ned and Peter. Their teacher was going over the requirements for a new project they were going to have to work on. They would need a partner for it. Alexandra's first choice would of course have been Peter, but she quickly realized that wasn't going to be an option because he and Ned would definitely be working together.
She glanced around the classroom, looking for possible candidates to pair up with.
"Alright, find who your partner is going to be, then let me know. We'll go over the project details a bit more next class," Mr. Harmon said.
Alexandra turned around and, sure enough, Ned and Peter had chosen each other to pair up with. "Sorry I stole your man, Alex," Ned apologized. "But it be like that sometimes."
Alexandra laughed. "It's fine, Ned—I'll pair up with Betty or someone."
Unfortunately, Betty had also already paired up with someone in the class. Every person Alexandra asked seemed to be paired with someone. When she told their teacher about this, he asked the class if anyone else didn't have a partner. One other person raised their hand and Alexandra decided she would rather work on the project alone.
"I'll be her partner, Mr. Harmon." Flash smirked triumphantly.
Alexandra internally groaned.
"Alright, thanks, Flash," Mr. Harmon said. The bell rang. "I'll see you all tomorrow, we'll talk more about what the project is then!"
Alexandra grabbed her backpack and rushed over to Ned and Peter. "Someone—anyone—please kill me." She groaned.
"I can't believe you have to work with Flash!" Ned exclaimed. "Maybe you can ask Mr. Harmon if you can just do the project by yourself?" He suggested.
"I don't think that's an option." She sighed.
"But Flash is terrible!" Peter said. "You're just gonna end up doing all the work yourself!"
Alexandra shrugged and as they were walking down the hall, she heard someone call out her name. Alexandra turned around and saw Flash running towards them and she sighed. "Hey!" He said.
"Look Flash, just because we're being forced to work together on this project doesn't mean we have to be all buddy-buddy, okay?" She said. She'd had just about enough of him, if she was being totally honest. It was insane how he thought that after all the years he had spent bullying Peter and Ned he could just walk up to her and act like they were friends or something.
Flash frowned. "Yeah sure, whatever," He replied. "See ya around, partner." He smirked at Peter when he said that before walking away.
Peter scowled and clenched his fists. Alexandra grabbed his hand and shook her head. "He's just trying to make you mad," She said. "Ignore him."
Peter exhaled and nodded. Alexandra watched as Flash walked away and sighed. This was not going to be fun.

I FINALLY UPDATED.
Sorry for such a long hiatus!!! I was honestly experiencing some major writer's block for this story. Not sure if I'm completely over it yet, but I'm going to try my hardest to keep updating regularly.
