Alexandra always got her way eventually. She had initially agreed with Peter and decided not to worry about using her powers as a web slinging hero, she agreed to leave that job to Peter. She continued going to her defense classes and Maria Hill taught her everything she knew.
"Well, you're almost up to my standards." Maria smirked. "Almost."
After about a month and a half, once their sophomore year was coming to a close, Alexandra finally convinced Peter to teach her to use her powers. He hadn't been very excited about it at first, but once she used the reasoning that it would be more useful to her self defense if she learned how to use them, Peter had agreed.
So, Alexandra had been spending most of her summer break training with Peter when he was available and training with Maria, too. Tony was a big help, he made sure that they had everything they needed to teach Alexandra what she needed to know.
Colin found out eventually, because it was impossible to keep it from him. He hadn't been very excited about it at first, but once he learned that Alexandra didn't actually plan to use her powers to become a crime fighting spider girl, he seemed on board with the idea. He was able to help Alexandra keep all of it from Leo.
Because they both knew Leo wouldn't be pleased with any of this. It was easier to keep it a secret from him. So they did.
Alexandra didn't tell anyone else. Well, except for Ned. Because Ned was Peter's guy in the chair and he definitely deserved to know. He was, of course, over the freaking moon about the whole thing. "This is so cool!" He exclaimed. "Man, I wish I had spider powers!" He paused, thinking. "Actually, I wish I had the power to control water, because humans are seventy percent water so essentially I would be able to tear people apart if they double crossed me!"
Peter gently patted Ned's arm. "Okay, Ned."
"It would be so cool!"
As the days progressed, so did Alexandra's powers. She had gotten a really good hold on them. She was even pretty good with the web shooters. Peter was honestly impressed with her. And she seemed so excited about it, too. When she brought up the idea of her using her powers like he did again, Peter actually thought about it for a little while.
He spoke to Mr. Stark about it, too. He seemed to already have his mind made up on the matter. "Kid, if I'm being completely honest with you, I've had a suit ready for her for a few weeks now," Tony said to him when Peter asked for his opinion.
"Mr. Stark!" Peter exclaimed.
"What?" Tony replied, leaning back. "It never hurts to have someone watching your six, Pete. And you and I both know she's more than capable of doing that. She's been keeping you out of trouble since you met."
Peter couldn't argue with that, as much as he wanted to. Instead, he sighed. "What does it look like?" He asked.
"What, the suit?" Tony replied and pulled up a file. "I'm so glad you asked, my young apprentice."
Peter blinked. "Was that a Star Wars deference?"
"What?"
"Never mind." Peter shook his head.
Tony shrugged and opened the file, revealing a white suit. The webbing design, similar to Peter's, was gold in color instead of black. Her suit included a mask and even a hood to go over it. The colors were white and gold, an interesting choice. When Peter looked over at Tony, the older man shrugged. "She seemed like a white and gold kinda girl to me. What do you think?"
Peter nodded, still in awe of the suit's design. "It's nice, Mr. Stark," He replied. "It fits her really well, actually..."
Tony looked at Peter and grinned a bit. "You want her to put it on, don't you?" He asked him.
