Pamper day

The five girls were walking to potions (their last class of the day) a few weeks later when suddenly there was a loud explosion. Bella looked around fearfully as everyone turned to look at her. Assuming she had something to do with it. She scowled at them before a voice came over the speakers in the hallway.

"Not to worry students," the kind voice of McGonagall said, "there has been a small mishap in the potions department and the area has now been closed off for students for a while. If you have a class there, for the foreseeable future your potions class will be cancelled. Thank you."

"Does that mean we get the rest of the afternoon off?" Lucy asked, twirling a strand of her soft brown hair. Bella had always been envious of her hair, everyone just assumed her hair was dyed white. She had had to bleach it to get it back from the blue it was before but that will soon grow out and it will be back to its natural colour again.

"I think so," Sophia replied, breaking Bella's trance. "Spa day in our dorms?" She added, now addressing the group as a whole. The rest all nodded and after deciding on the Slytherin dorms they made their way there.

"Password?" Bella rolled her eyes before muttering the password. 'Pureblood'. She scoffed at the mere thought, glaring daggers at the painting as she walked past it.

"I still don't understand why you didn't get that changed." Starla said. She fell back from the group and let herself fall in step with Bella. Bella just shrugged. "Didn't you try?"

"Yes, but then we met the Snape painting and then a bunch of stuff happened. I can't even remember that far back. I think it was around the time Lucia came back into our lives and we just forgot about it." Starla nodded, hummed and then slipped away to rejoin her girlfriend, who was now sitting leaning against the end board of her bed. A black framed bed with dark green sheets. Out the window a mermaid swam past. She stopped abruptly at the window to pull a face and then swam away again.

"So shall we do face masks or truth or dare first?" Bella asked sitting down next to Lucy on her bed, Sophia shrugged from her bed. "I say face masks and then play t or d." The other four agreed and Lily got up to get the face masks from the bathroom. As she came back there was a knock on the door. "It's open." Bella said and Draco walked through. "Hey dad."

"I was right, how predictable," he joked, motioning to the pot of face mask in Lily's hand. "Good thing I brought these. He had brought them each white fluffy robes and matching slippers. "I figured when you heard you got the afternoon off you would come up here and have a girly day so..." he handed them out, kisses Bella's hair and left with an amused goodbye.

"Are we really that predicable?" Lily asked, swapping her school robes for the spa one and taking her tie off. The four other girls all replied with a yes in unison, causing them all to erupt into fits of giggles.

They all plastered themselves with a lavender and peppermint face mask the game of truth or dare began. Lucy asked Bella first. "Bella truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"Advertise am aircraft carrier on Craigslist and leave your number." Lucy replied with a laugh. Bella did it, finding pictures of airplanes off google.

"Done, it's your turn Lily. Truth or dare?" Bella asked.

"Truth."

"What was your best night out and why?"

"My best night out was Victiore's hen night because we all got to dress up as Disney characters and it was just so much fun." Lily said with confidence. She had obviously thought of that before. "Your turn Sophia, truth or dare?"

"Truth please babes."

"Okay, do you think you're funnier than one of the other players? If so who?" The curiosity in Lily's voice was very noticeable.

"I think I'm funnier than Lucy, no offence babes but like you don't really make jokes all that often and you're quite quiet. No jokes on me if you turn out to be a comedian when you're older." Sophia laughed. "Okay Starla it's your turn. Truth or dare?"

"I think I'll have to go with dare."

"Hmmm..." Sophia thought long and hard about what to make her do. "I've got it! Do squats for one minute straight." She pulled out her phone and set a timer for a minute as Starla got up and in position. Unfortunately she only lasted 50 seconds before she gave up.

"It's Lucy's turn now. Truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"Let another player respond to your last message." Lucy inwardly facepalmed as she handed her phone over to Starla. Starla opened it and went onto messages. The last one being from her mum. She read aloud and immediately wished she hadn't. "Are you still friends with that... Malfoy ... girl?" The whole room went silent. "She's just trouble."

"Bella I'm so sorry. My mum has been on at me for ages about how you're a bad infusion but I haven't listen to her. I always ignore any messages like that. I don't care who you are I think you're a great friend." Bella looked like she was about to cry and she put her arm around Lucy's shoulder and gave her a squeeze. "I want to tell her to shove it, but she'll cut me off. She's quite wealthy and I need my trust fund money to  go to college and be a doctor."

"It's okay. I believe you. It's like I've always said. We are not our parents."

Okay soooooooo...... crappy little chapter to show I'm not dead. I just wanted to show that I am still writing this book and also as much as the girls think things can go back to normal there will always be something that gets in the way of that. Also I have one more exam tomorrow before I'm done until the real things in April/May. I can't promise a lot more content but I appreciate you sticking with me. I love you all so so much. Also I got the truths and dares from an app but idiotic me forgot to screenshot them to put them in. Oh well. Love you xx 😘
