Bella didn't even notice when October and November came and went. She didn't even notice it was December until she was been rushed down to the Great Hall one Saturday morning by the girls with everyone else chattering loudly about a winter ball. Great. She'd thought. That went brilliantly last year. It would mean she would get to dance with James.

When they arrived at the hall they were met with the teachers and two people she'd never seen before. One a man with dirty blonde/brown hair and a long neck. The other was a woman with bright red hair standing slightly shorter than the man. They both wore training gear and her hair was up in a high ponytail. Bella looked around and noticed that nearly the whole school was there. Except the first and second years.

"Welcome students," her dad said from the platform at the front. "We know many of you have heard of what we are planning. A winter ball for three weeks time. Now in order to prepare for the ball we have brought in two of the most talented dancers around. They are two Pro dancers from Strictly Dance, the muggle dance competition for celebrities. Joseph and Dianna Sugg." He motioned to the two with his hand and they waved. " they will be teaching you over the next three weeks how to do the Waltz, the Viennese Waltz and the Foxtrot."

Bella zoned out as he went over the technical stuff. She wondered if they were Muggles or Wizards. It wasn't until she saw the wand tucked neatly in Diana's hair that she knew she was. Him on the other hand she still didn't know. "Would you like to tell us a bit more about yourselves?"

Dianna stepped forward, "Hello," she started, an Australian accent clear despite she'd obviously been living in the UK for many years. "My name is Dianna Sugg, I am a witch," she said pulling the want from her hair and waving it about as she spoke. "I was born in Sidney, Australiasnd moved to London when I was 25, I started Strictly then and that's where I met this guy." She pointed at him with her wand and he laughed at her. Bella noticed the look in his eyes when he looked at Dianna. It was the same way she and James looked at each other. Pure love.

"Yes, hello, that's me, I am human, unfortunately but Dianna trusted me with this secret world after we started dating. And I think everything she does is magical, even if she's using magic or not. I started Strictly a year before Dianna did and we've been happily dancing together ever since she did." For some reason that got a round of applause. "So for starters we are learning the Viennese waltz, so if everyone could pick a partner."

The next few minutes was a shambles. People running everywhere to find a friend. Bella stayed where she was with Lily and Starla knowing James would come and find her. Arron partnered up with Sophia and Lucy went with one of her male friends from Gryffindor. Bella soon felt a tap on her shoulder and she turned around to see James smiling down at her.

"Yeah beautiful, care to dance?" He held his hand out while fans bowing.

"I would love to." She replied taking his hand and letting him lead her to a clear space. Luckily the hall was big enough to just about fit everyone. By the end of the madness pretty much everyone was partnered up. Except one or two. One Bella noticed was that Cheryl girl from Teddy's wedding. She felt James kiss her temple.

"Ignore her, I haven't spoken to her in over a year, I love you." He whispered when he noticed her tensing and glaring in her direction.

"I know I can't help it. I love you too."

Soon enough everyone was partnered up, Cheryl included, and they began to go over hold and framing. Where your arms were. Where you head went. What side of the body you were on. (Right nipple to right nipple). (Why is dancing so awkward. I mean I do it and want to do it for a living but...)

Then steps were added. One two three. One two three. Not like a typical waltz this was more free flowing but still stuck to the same three beat pattern. The learned steps, sways, fleckles, natural turns and reverse turns. All the time dancing to "This years love" by David Gray. It was a beautiful song and by the end most everyone had everything picked up. Well some more than others.
