It was two weeks until summer, meaning you were about to start exams. This didn't bother you too much, its not like you attempted to study, but it meant that the teachers were constantly nagging you about it.
You spent most of that time however rolling your eyes and responding with "whatever".Exams went by pretty fast and you knew you had done badly in pretty much every single one. This didn't really bother you all that much though its not like you actually cared about grades.
Despite the boring hours you spent in the exam hall, they didn't really affect you.
Soon enough, you were back to to hell of normal lessons, occasionally getting back your test results.
It was the last day of the term when you heard your name on the loud speaker, along with other familiar names such as gerard. You wondered what it could possibly be about as you hadn't skipped school for a while.
You grumbled and headed to the princibles office, steppung into the foyer with arms crossed on your chest and a slight pout due to having to walk half way accross the school for whatever bullshit this was.
"Y/N!" A small punk with a lip and nose ring waved in your direction and beckoned for you to take a seat next to him.
"Hey Frank, you too huh?"
"Rad amiright. We get to miss lessons. You have any knowledge of what this is about?" He grinned as you sat down, not breaking eye contact.
You shook your head in response and shoved your hands in the pockets of your ripped jeans.
"I can't be bothered with this shit, i gotta go home in about 15 minutes." you rolled your eyes and slumped down, not a flicker of optimism in your attitude. When you couldn't possibly roll your eyes to more extent, you decided to close them, going into your dream world of thoughts- good and bad- smiling for a few seconds as you put yourself into the world of your favourite book. However Frank rudely interrupted your thoughts.
"So have you and Gerard.. you know" he brought his hands up, gesturing with his fingers at the rude thing he was implying. You flushed and hit him, earning a satisfying 'ouch' as you made contact with his shoulder.
"You didn't say no..." he mumbled, before guarding his face with his arms as you brought your hand up again. You were not a very good liar, so you didn't try to deny it but u were most certainly not going to confirm it. Luckily before this conversation could get any worse for you, the door to the principals office swung open and Gerard walked out followed by and older woman who was presumably his mum.
Gerard did not have a happy expression on his face, he stared at the ground and crossed his arms, his eyes a total look of defeat. When the two of you caught eyes, he gave you a pleading look and shook his head slightly before you could even say hi. His soft hazel eyes pretty much explained: he was in deep shit.
Which only meant one thing. So were you.
The principal came out soon after, he eyed the room until the sharp pupils landed on you. He didn't even need to say anything for you to know that you were next and were in for fucking hell.
You didn't make eye contact as you stalked into his office, scowling as he held open the door for you.
You stay idle, arms crossed and looking at your feet in his office a good five minutes before finally, the door opened again and your mother appeared, flustered and furious. Just as it couldn't get any worse.
As she sat sown, the principle slid a piece of paper in front of you.
"Y/N this is unacceptable." Your eyes trailed towards the paper showing a list of subjects and letters next to them. Particularly a high percentage of the letter D. You rolled your eyes and sat back in your chair, folding your arms across your chest.
Your mum scoffed and glared at the side of your head. Her disapproval was evident.
You knew that there was no point in arguing. Teachers are always right. Parents are always right. Proving them wrong was impossible, even if you were right. This still did not discourage you however."I did fine in the subjects that I actually care about". You placed your finger on Art and then trailed it down the page all the way to music. Your calm facade was the complete opposite of what was going through your head. You were going to get seriously punished for this.
"How do you expect to get anywhere in life with just those subjects (y/n)?! You can't get into college with just that."
"Yeah well lucky for me I'm not going to college."
"I beg your pardon!?" Your mum sat up in her chair, straightening out her posture in a threatening manor."
"What? Since when have you actually cared what I actually did with my life?" You were trying to stay calm but it was getting harder as the conversation continued to pull at your strings of emotions.
"I don't want my only daughter to end up with no damn job cause she's a flipping dropout."
"No." You shook your head breathing heavily, the lump in your through getting harder to fight. "What you wish... is that you never had a fucking daughter in the first place. You make it clear enough."
You violently got up out of your chair, causing it to topple over in the process. You strode over to the door and flung yourself out, not even sparing a second to lead your eyes in the direction of frank who looked up as you stormed out, lips parted in shock.
Before anyone could catch up to you, you were already running full pelt to a destination all too familiar.

Honey please come back. You know I don't think that.
3:30
Please come homeI love you.
You looked at the messages on your phone, discarding them as you laid your eyes on them. She could possibly mean what she said- half of it at least, but you weren't really in the mood to go home yet.
You had other ideas.

Hey Gee xYou closed your phone and lay down, taking in the beautifully deadly fumes from a cigarette. The song '21 guns' played on full volume, the only sound coming from the desolate building.

R u there? He still didn't answer for a good while which was strange and abnormal for him. He always replied right away or at least after five minutes.
Usually it doesn't bother you if people don't reply, they have stuff to do. But something seemed off.
You decide to change your plans for now. Getting your phone, you quickly swiped onto contacts and called the person you trust more than most people in the world.
"Hey Pete."
